As widely expected from past trailers and images, the recent trailer shows Ciri under Geralt's protection and even the beginnings of her training as a Witcher at Kaer Morhen. The fight against the Bruxa, a type of shapeshifting vampire, is also expanded upon as even more Witchers take up arms against this deadly foe.
Rience also makes his Witcher debut. A powerful mage, Rience is on the hunt for Ciri as she's the source of great power. He's only shown briefly, but both times he's seen with flaming hands shooting fireballs at an unseen enemy.
Finally, what appears to be a Leshen shows up right at the end, alt🐼hough it looks a bit different than the Leshens in Witcher 3. Those monsters typically have deer skulls as a head, while the trailer seems to be entirely made of vines and branches. It could be a Leshen, or it might be a Treant. Or it might be a brand new monster made specifically for the show, which would be pretty cool.
Showrunner Lauren Hissrich r168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ecently revealed that Season 2 will be largely based on the Blood of﷽ Elves novel, which deals with the war between the Southern Kingdoms and the Northern Empire. She also mentioned the upcoming season will have a more straightforward, linear narrative and even more intense stories than the first season.
