The second of five reveals from Devolver's E3 presentation was , an aꩵdventure rogu✨elite co-op sandbox survival game where you play as a wizard. With a gun.
"Em✤bark on a journey alone or with friends to collect, craft, and outfit your wizard however you see fit as you explore the unknown," reads the game’s , which just popped up♓ following Devolver’s presentation. The trailer gives off a significant Bastion vibe, while the screenshots reveal an RPG-style equipment and inventory system.
As a gun-toting wizard, your gun looks to be your main implement of destruction. Besides a loot and elemental system, Wizard with a Gun also provides you with a loading bench to create magically imbued weapons. The elemental system can alter a shot’s power, blast radius, bullet trails, and𒊎 inflict status effects on enemies.
You’re not just a guy with a gun. As a wizard, you’ve also got magical spells that can apparently be “creatively” arranged into powerful combos or po👍ssibly lead to “untethered amalgamations” that lead to disaster.
A unique art style, randomly generated worlds, and unspecified 🥃roguelite elements all await in Wizard with a Gun, coming to both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam later in 2022.
