Yan Liang And Wen Chou Boss Fight Strategy

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - Wen Chou and Yan Liang use a critical strike together

As soon as the fight begins, Wen Chou and Yan Liang will begin a joint attack that will end as a Critical Strike. There is a significantly long wind-up animation to this attack, which means you should rush forward and get close to them as soon as the fight starts.

While you do need to watch out for the wild swings that happen before the attack ends, you can get in so much more damage this way right off the bꦯ🐷at, instead of waiting and timing your deflection, due to how long the attack takes.

If you don't feel comfortable rushing in, then deflecting the attack successfully will throw Yan Liang back at Wen Chouꦫ, stunning them both for a spell.

If you hit the deflection, close the distance as quickly as you can and hit them with🍃 aಌ strong combo.

The game gives you a break in this fight because both of them barely use individual Critical Strikes, and neither of them uses any elements. This means it's a much more straightforward fight than the previous ones, and you only have to deal with physical damage.

Yan Liang crawls around the arena fairly fast and his attacks sweep wide and rapidly. Wen Chou, on the other hand, is much slower to hit but his attacks are far more dangerous than his friend's.

They both have individual health bars and so you should aim to reduce both of their HP to about half at the same time. There are two reasons for this, the main one being that they can both revive the other once. Due to their attack patterns, we would recommend you then first focus on killing Wen Chou.

The most important thing to know in this fight is that both of them can revive the other one time during the fight.

Due to this, you should deal equal damage to them both if you can and then switch to burning down one of them.

When you kill one, the other will eventually jump to revive them, bringing them back to half HP, with two buffs and a debuff. The one who is revived will be weaker than beforeꦚ, so you shouldꦏ focus entirely on killing the one who has just been brought back to life.

This fight could be a problem if you happen to kill Wen Chou first and then Yan Liang. This is because that will trigger both of them being revived once each, as opposed to only having one of them be brought back into the fight. By focusing on the one who has already been revived, you 𒐪can effectively cut the time of the battle in half.

Stay close to Wen Chou and try to deflect his heavy slams. Be careful, all of his overhead attacks create an AoE when they connect with the floor. As mentioned, all of this can be deflected, but the timing can🀅 be awkward.

While the above might be easier said than done, you should be able to isolate them from each other due to having Followers.

Guan Yu is with you by default, so feel free to bring another alonꦦg to help out in this fight.

Otherwise, the two of them cover each other extremely well to the point where it gets difficult to use a F♏inishing Blow🍬 when you get a stance break because the other will be swinging in to help.

With Wen Chou dead for good, Yan Liang will not be able to revive him a second time. Without his friend to back him up, the fight is extremely easy to finish off. As ever, staying in close range of Yan Liang will be the best course of action.

We recommend staying close because Yan Liang has several attacks that are leaps and swipes, most of which might just sail over your head as he lunges above you during his attacks. This specific attack consists of three jumps and swipes, so keep an eye out for the end of the attack, and take this as your chance to deal some serious damage.
