Way back in the heady days of the early 2000s, there was a completely free multiplayer game based on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Return to Castle Wolfenstein called Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Originally intended as an expansioℱn for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, including both a multiplayer and single-player component, but problems with 𒊎the single-player campaign's development led developer Splash Damage to just release the multiplayer mode as a standalone, completely free game.

Because back in 2003, people didn't think a solely multiplayer game was enough to c꧋harge money for. My, how far we've come.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was fairly revolutionary for its time, being one of the first class-based shooter games to also offer an experience progression system. But it always felt like it was missing something without th𝄹at solo campaign.

Enter Dark Matter Production's William Faure.♓ It had always been assumed that the single-player campaign of Enemy Territory had been lost forever, but now Faure is bringing it back single-handedly, updated for modern hardware, and on the best PC platform of them all, Steam.

Faure is also making use of the RealRTCW mod to bring the same enhanced visuals, sounds, enemy AI, and other features that hꦰave already been brought to Return to Castle Wolfenstein. You can see the full list of enhaꦏncements over on , and you can install the game and play it for free.

As notes, Faure has plenty of experience working with RealRTCW. He’s the mastermind behind The Dark Army: Uprising, an unoffic𓆉ial sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein. He’s als꧋o released an 11-minute trailer to show just how he's come with Enemy Territory’s single-player campaign. All six multiplayer maps are being stitched together into a full campaign with voice acting and everything. It’ll even include co-op.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Terr♍itory's single-player campaign officially returns on November 19, and arrives on Steam on November 30.
