Players can find the earliest reference to past Wolfenstein games on the first ꦯloading screen before the intro sequence. The phrase "Get Psyched" flashes on the screen briefly like a subliminaꦛl message. Blink, and you will miss it!

"Get Psyched" is a message that appeared on loading screens before levels in Wolfenstein 3D. Starting The New🧜 Order by referencing a classic Wolfenstein game is the perfect way🔥 to begin the reboot series's first entry.

9 Doom Guy Chainsཧaw

After escaping the asylum at the start of🍰 the game, the player interrogates a Nazi superi▨or officer, Friedrich Keller. The interrogation ends with Blazkowicz beheading Keller with a chainsaw.

Before picking up the chainsaw and triggering a cutscene, players might notice an interesting detail upon further inspection. There is a small imprint of the Doom Guy's face on the chainsaw! The chainsaw has been a staple of the Doom series since its first entry, and adding this 💖small detail is a nice callback for fans of the series.

Tekla's rooꦰm is covered with papers scattered everywhere and writings on the 📖wall. One of these writings says "IDKFA" and is found near the door toward the floor. Doom fans will immediately recognize this as the cheat code used in the original game to get max armor, health, ammo, and all the keys.

7 🌟 🦹 Vault 101 From Fallout 3

Another Easter egg can be found🍷 in the Resistance base. If players go to the hangar bay and take a left, they will notice a large circular door with the number "101" painted on it and steam surr🐟ounding it. It resembles a circular vault door.

This is clearly a reference to Fallout 3🧸's Vault 101. They are both similar in shape, but if that isn't enough, MachineGames put "101" on the door to make it clear they were paying homage to Fallout 3.

6 Castle Wolfenstein Logo On Buzzsaw ༺ 💎

A well-hidden and easily missed Retuജrn to Castle Wolfenstein Easter egg can be found in the hangar bay. Anya tells the player to cut off some moldy concrete in the hangar. The player needs to retrieve the buzzsaw before doing this.

Acquiring the buzzsaw will make Blazkowicz fall into the sewer, but once the player is back in the hangar, they can resume Anya's task. A prompt to cut the concrete will trigger a cutscene where the double-head eaglꦬe logo for Return to Castle Wolfenstein is clearly shown on the buzzsaw. It's another blink, and you will miss it moment!

5 Reꦫturn To Castle Wolfenstein Alarm

Interestingly enough, this is the only time the Return to Castle Wolfenstein siren is played in the game. All the other a🌊larms throughout The New Order use a different sound effect for alarms. Why they chose this level is a mystery, but it is a cool callback nonetheless.

If players head into Max Hass's bedroom in the Resistance base, theꦡy might find an Easter egg to gaming's favorite pl♍umber. Hass's room is filled with juvenile toys and knickknacks, and one of them is a yellow star plush with smiley faces on them.

These pl💃ushes resemble the Power Stars from the Super Mario games. While Power Stars don't have 🅘mouths, it is undeniable these plushes look similar to the iconic Super Mario stars.

3 ไ🦂 Quake Keychain

At the start of the sixth chapter, "London Nautica," Bobby Bram drives Blazkowicz to his objective. The player can look around while in the car as Bram debriefs Blazkowicz. In fact, there is a small reference to this games' developer, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:MachineGames, on the highway in this scene.

The keychain hanging from the ignition might be a familiar🅘 sight for Quake 3 fans 🐓as it resembles a rocker launcher from that game.

2 GoldenEye's Golden Gun 💛

While undercover on a train to Berlin, Blazkowicz encounters Frau🍌 Engel and her lover, Bubi. During this tense scene, Engel will test Blazkowicz with a series of pictures. She puts her pistol on the table to tempt the player into shooting her.

While picking up the pistol will trigger a "Game Over" screen, p✤la𒆙yers can inspect it without picking it up. Engel's pistol is gold and shaped like the Golden Gun from the GoldenEye video game. This reference isn't as explicit as the others, but the resemblance is uncanny.

On 🎃the Resistance base's top floor, there is a Wolfenstein 3D poster hanging ab🔯ove a mattress in a corner. Activate the Nightmare mode while looking at the mattress, and the player will be teleported into the first level of Wolfenstein 3D.
