While the Kickstarter campaign for the remaster of The Wonderful 101 was started just over three weeks ago, the rerelease has already been backed by many PlatinumGames fans. In fact, the remaster has gotten so much backing that it will now receive extra content in the universe of The Wonderful 101.
Originally a Wii U exclusive, PlatinumGames launched a for The Wonderful 101's remaster in order to reach a wider range of audiences. As the Wii U was limited in its success, The Wonderful 101 didn't turn out to be among PlatinumGames' most popular games. As such, PlatinumGames wanted to bring a game that "represents our passion for making games and dedication to quality" 💝to more audiences.
This started with one platform in the Nintendo Switch at a goal of $50,000. Then, there would be a Steam version at $250,000 pledged. After that, the PS4 would get a remaster of The Wonderful 101 at $500,000 p🐼ꦐledged, with a Time Attack mode later promised at a funding of $1 million.
Now, the remaster of The Wonderful 101 will be getting additional content with a side missi🧜on titled "Luka🌺's First Mission." The content is described as a "brand new 2D side scrolling adventure starring a young hero!"
PlatinumGames doesn't provide too many details over Luka's First Mission. It is stated that the spinoff game will have completely different gameplay in its 2D side-scrolling. As well, Luka's First Mission hౠas you play as solely Luka, as opposed to "100 wonderful teammates."
It is also stated that Luka is a student of Wonder-Red of the Wonderful 100 but dislikes the Wonderful 100. He doesn't know his teacher is Wonder-Red, but Luka is described 𒀰as a maker of mischief.
There are now two more tiers to go in the Kickstarter campaign for the development of The Wonderful 101's remaster. At $1.75 million, backers will get access to a remix soundtrack. Further, at $2 million, p🐟layers will get Luka's Second Mission, which continues Luka's saga.
It is impressive that the Kickstarter campaign for The Wonderful 101: Remastered has reached this point.🦂 Clearly, the audience that missed out on the game's Wii U release is looking forward to the game's release on mo🦩re popular platforms.
