Whether you’re an experienced angler or only go fishing casually, fishing vessels can be a massive quality of life improvement, as they make it much easier to get to hard-to-reach🅰 areas of water.
What Are Fishing Vessels in World of Warcraft?
For those that aren't exactly sure what fishing vessels are, they’re items that allow you to essentially mount-up on water. You may be familiar with how you cannot fish unless you’re standing on land, Yet some fishing pools may be🎶 just out of reach depending on where you arꦕe.
To make this easier, and to save you time swimming or flying to various areas, you can find fishing vessels to help. For example, the Tuskarr Dinghy is a boat you can use to fish from anywhere on the water. There’s also spells and potions that can help to💖 improve your fis🌃hing experience.
Angler's Fishing Raft
The Angler's Fishing Raft is a toy that allows you to raft across water. When used, you’ll get a buff so that when you walk into water, you’ll mount a raft instead of swimming. You can buy this item from renowned fisherman, Nat Pagel. To find him, head to Pandaria. You’ll see Angler’s Wharf on the Krasarang Wilds map, where you can purchase the Angler's Fishing Raft from him.
In Stormwind and Orgrimmar, you can use a portal to the Jade Forest and fly over to Angler’s Wharf. You wi🍬ll need to be Revered with ✃The Anglers reputation to purchase the raft.
Despite the in-game item text, you can use the raft on other characters that do not have Revered reputation with The Anglers.
The Anglers Reputation Guide
If you haven’t done The Anglers reputation yet, you can start by heading to Angler’s Wharf and picking up the daily quests. These daily quests will not be visible if you haven't learned fishing. You can learn fishing by speaking with Nat Pagel, sitting in a small boat next to the boardwalk.
Altogether, there are 14 different daily quests that will be on a random rotation. However, you’ll only be able to complete three daily 🔯quests per day.

- Mimic Octopus
- Flying Tiger Gourami
- Spinefish Alpha.
Each of these fish can be caught once a day, so they each 🥂are another daily quest you can complete.
Pandaria Timewalking
Got plenty of Timewarped Badges to spare? A somewhat faster way to boost your reputation for The Anglers is during the Pandaria Timewalking Events. Check your in-game calendar to see when these take place.
During these events, you can find the vendor Mistweaver Xia to the west of Mossgreen Lake on the Timeless Isle. You can purchase Commendation of The Anglers from her for 50 Timewarped Badges. These items give you 300 reputation wi🦩th The Anglers. Buy as many as you need to hit Revered, or you can even go all the way to Exalted.
Tuskarr Dinghy
This fishing vessel is essentially the same concept as the Angler's Fishing Raft. It is a toy that gives you a buff so that when you walk into water, you’ll mount a boat instead of swimming. You can fish from the Tuskarr Di𒁃nghy, making it an e😼ssential for anglers.
The Tuskarr Dinghy is a reward for the achievement River Rapids Wrangler. This achievement requires you to collect 40 fish during one session of Ruriq's River Rapids Ride. To be able to use this ride, you have to comﷺꦉplete a quest chain.
Start by finding Ruriq, a male Tuskarr, and beginning the quests Mammoths Matter and Culling the Cullers. They can be found north-east of the Azure Archives in the Azure Span (Coordinates: 44.50). For this quest chain, you’ll help Rariq, and you’ll need to compl🌸ete quests for his brother,ꦜ Kauj, too. The quests are as follows:
- Mammoths Matter
- Culling the Cullers
- Tackling the Falls
- The Gleamfisher
- Ice Breakers
- Wayward Winds
- A Wrestle of Wind and Water
- Ruriq's River Rapids Ride.
If you fail to catch 40 fish on your first try, talk to Ruriq and he will teleport you back to the starting point to try again. Don’t forget to look back if you miss any fish as you can still throw nets behind you.
