We are certainly excited to see the conclusion of the MDI. According to the Developer Update Livestream from today, July 8, the Shadowlands expansion will be launching this fall. This means that the MDI Grand Finals will be the last time we see players competing in content from Battle for Azeroth.

It will be great to see where the series goes from here, not only in terms of new content, but also in terms of competitive directio✱n. While the for🐬mat and style may remain exactly the same, fans and players alike have mentioned a desire to see something shift the format, because while some fans, this writer included, loves watching the competitive side of dungeon running, the experience can be repetitive and dull after a while for some viewers.

For now, t𝓰his is pure speculation, so we will end by wishing the teams the best of luck tღhis week in taking home the title of champions!
