Pandaria is back and better than ever in the Mists of Pandaria Remix. Travel back in time to relive the glory days and earn exclusive new mounts, appearances, and battle pets; but act fast, as this event only lasts until August 19th. Welcome to Pandamonium!
How To Create A Pandaria Remix Character
To start the remix event, simply log in. A popup will prompt you to create a Timerunner character - customize as you wish🅷, and you'll be good to go.
Unfortunately, this character comes with some restrictions. For the duration of the event, your character cannot:
- Leave Pandaria.
- Learn any professions.
- Use the auction house.
- Use heirlooms.
- Send mail or group up with characters outside of the event.
- Use them in any other expansion.
As soon as the remix ends on August 19th, any Timerunning characters created will be converted to Dragonflight, and will have complete freedom to all features.
What Does The Remix Offer?
The Pandaria remix offers several new features, including a new currency, new ways to upgrade your armor, and free transmogging.
Bronze is a currency exclusive to this event that allows you to purchase previous and new toys, mounts, pets, and appearances. These will drop from almost every enemy, and you can get larger amounts from completing achievements, dungeons, and raids.
Additionally, Unraveling Sands will allow you to discard unwanted items in exchange for Bronze. This can then be spent at vendors in the various Timerunning bases in each zone
As soon as you finish the tutorial, you will receive the Cloak of Infinite Potential, a back item that can be infinitely upgraded with various threads that will drop from enemies. Additionally, Meta, Cogwheel, Tinker, and Prismatic Gems can be made or bought for Bronze, and when socketed will give your character powerful abilities, stat buffs, or spell upgrades.
Any transmog purchases are completely free, so you don't have to worry about having enough gold to look how yo💫u wish.
Finally, Dragonriding is av🌱ailable very early on, allowing you to explore the region in style an🐻d speed.
