Since launching last year, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World of Warcraft Classic has been a resounding success. Blizzard has recently announced that Phase 5 will be rolling out later in July, and it is a good time to consider what lies ahead for the rest of Classic, and beyond.

Farming Zul’Gurub

Currently, Phase 4 is live and brought with it the 20-man raid Zul’Guru and the corresponding Zandalar Tribe reputation. Having launched in April, most players who were ready to hit the ground running have already acquired the necessary reputation items for their professions. As Blizzard promised, this time there was no uncontrollable plague 🤪accidentally set loose to wipe out unsuspecting players.

While an important part of the Classic experience, most players are eager to see Phase 5 roll out. Zul’Gurub is certainly enjoyable, but Ahn'Qiraj is something else ✱entirely.

Phase 5 And Ahn'Qiraj

The process by which players originally worked together to access Ahn'Qiraj in Silithus is quite memorable, and we are nearing the same event once more. On July 28, the chain quest to craft the Scepter of the Shifting Sands will go live, and the race to Bang a Gong! will be on. Obtaining the Scarab Lord title is one of the rarest achievements in the game, and players🅺 will be fighting hard to claim it for themselves.

On this note, Blizzard went out of their way to remind players that any characters that transfer servers in Classic will be prevented from opening the gates and obtaining the Scarab Lord mount for 90 days. This is meant to counter the possibility of transferring specifically for this purpose, as Blizzard that, “We want to allow players to transfer, but that should be so they can play with their friends, not disrupt another re💖alm’s Scepter race.” For those player who are noℱt familiar with the extreme efforts needed to complete this quest chain, check out the video below.

While the most dedicated of players will be hard at work in defeating Ahn'Qiraj, there is also something for players who do not raid as heavily, have started late into 🏅the game's lifespan, or are working on alts. The catch up gear originally included in patch 1.10 in a loot revamp of certain dungeons will be with Phase 5, offering an additional way to gear characters, along with Relics, which are not yet available in game.

Phase 6 And Naxxramas

The final content release in Classic, which was originally the last addition before the release of The Burning Crusade, is Phase 6 and the launch of Naxxramas. There will also be World Objectives for PvP added to both the Eastern Plaguelands and Silithus, asᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ well as the ꧂special event of the Scourge Invasion.

However, speculation is all over the place regarding when this final Phase will be rolled out. One might logically assume that Phase 5 will be given three or four months to shine before the last piece of content is rolled out, but there is a problem with that timeline, and that is the upcoming release of the Shadowlands expansion for the retail version of the game.

This is not to say that both cannot launch at the same time, but it would make little sense for Blizzard to cannibalize its own user base by forcing players to choose one version of the game over the other, and expecting the most hardcore players to go full in on both is extreme. For years, Blizzard has worked hard to time gate the content of World of Warcraft so as to keep players drip fed just the right amount of activity, so it would make more sense for Shadowlands to 💝release in December or so, since we st🧔ill do not have a firm launch date other than 2020, and then release Phase 6 a few months later.

This unfortunately would mean that Phase 5 will last for six months or more, and that is a lot of time to be working on such content, but it may be how Blizzard chooses to roll everything out. The other option will simply be to bite the bullet and launch both around the same time as Shadowlands. In any case, The Burning Crusade would be next up.

The Burning Crusade – When, Not If

It has now been over three months that players have been receiving a survey from Blizzard all asking two important questions. The first question is “How interested are you in a ‘Classic’ version of The Burning Crusade?", and the second asks players how they would like to see characters handled in that situation, either with brand new characters on separate servers, transferring to Classic only servers, and more.

At this point, the success of Classic and the questions about how to handle character transfers make the eventual release of a ‘Classic’ The Burning Crusade a forgone solution.
