Where To Find Bamboo Shoots
To find Bamboo Shoots, you need to look for Bamboo Sprouts, which are tiny sentient pieces of Bamboo that run around on the map.

Bamboo Sprouts do reappear in the same location over and over again.
So, once you find one, make a note of where you spotted it so that you can return 🐈there and collect another Bam🔴boo Shoots whenever necessary.
Typically, Bamboo Sprouts appear in locations that meet the following criteria:
- Narrow paths
- Away from enemies
- Near save points

If you miss your chance with the Bamboo Sprout, either return to the same location once you've died or once you've prayed at a Shrine and Entered the Dream. This resets enemies, including Bamboo Sprouts.
How To Use Bamboo Shoots

The best place to do this is with the Panda merchant in the cave near the Shu Sanctuary.
It's easy to teleport back to the Shu Sanctuary shrine and then find Pa♉nda in his cave, ✤which rests on the path below the sanctuary.
