There might be a new Wu-Tang Clan game in development. For those of you who're too young to remember, I say "new" because the Wu-Tang Clan has already starred in their own video game way back in 1999. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style was a fighter for the original PlayStation with 3D graphics, four-player multiplayer support, and every member of Wu-Tang appearing as a playable character with their own fighti🍌ng style.
But in an era of Tekken and Virtua Fighter, Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style mostly failed to make a mark. Maybe going back to the drawing board two dec🧔ades later will give the grou🌟p better luck.
News of the new Wu-Tang game comes courtesy of VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb and Windows Central's Jez Corden speaking in the latest episode of the Game Mess podcast. According to both insiders, the new game is tentatively called "Project Shaolin" and is the first game to come from Brass Lion Entertainment.
Brass Lion was formed in 2019 by several industry veterans, including Manveer Heir (Mass Effect), Bryna Dabby Smith (Sleeping Dogs), and Rashad Red (Fallout 3, Skyrim). The studio will partner with Xbox to create a four-player co-op ꧋action RPG with procedurally-generated dungeons and live in-game even💃ts.
The "campaign ꦛis planned to run for a couple of dozen hours, complete with a rich endgame consisting of seasonal content drops and other💫 updates," writes Corden over on .
Naturally, the Wu-Tang Clan themselves will be providing the game's soundtrack.
Manveer Heir recently tweeted that Brass Lion is hiring for an action game with an "anime aesthetic." However, the game hasn't been officially announced by either Brass Lion or Xbox, so it's possible that Heir was referring to another game in development, but it seems unlikely for a small studio to have two games on the go.
