It may be terrifying, but you'll need to fight it if you want 🗹to ascend your Electro Resonators and get your hands on them as an Echo to use against the many other foes you'll fight.

Tempest Mephis Location

To get access to this boss, you'll need to meet two requirements: first, you'll need to have completed the main story mission Huanglong Chapter One: Ominous Star.

You'll also need to have reached SOL3 Phase Two by reaching Union Level Ten, which unlocks various boss enemies like Tempest Mephis.

Once you've met the requirements, head to Qichi Village and go down into the open cave in the middle of the area that you went into during the story mission. Navigate to the bottom, and you'll find the Tempest Mephis in the middle of the cavern on top of the Tacet Discord.

Unlike some other Overlord class enemies, the Tempest Mephis doesn't need to be summoned and will already be present when you go down into the cavern.

How To Beat Tempest Mephis

Tempest Mephis is a fast moving boss that frequently goes invisible, but during its invisibility, you'll still be able to attack it. The best way to get its Vibration Strength down is by using Counterattacks, and the majority of its moves can be counter-attacked and t♒his will give you some time to get in some extra 🧸damage.

Effective Characters And How To Recognize Attacks

Both Taoqi and Baizhi are great for counter-attacking Tempest Mephis, as 🌃Baizhi can hit them from a long range, and Taoqi's slower attack speed gives you a better window to react and not end up being mid-combo.

The Tempest Mephis will mainly use a combination of quick slash attacks and tail swipes, as well as a two-part move where it charges forward then disappears and does a ground slam with a damaging wave. All of these can be counter-attacked when the Tempest Mephis' attack is surrounded by a gold ring, and it'll knock a big chunk of Vibration Strength off them.

Stay Close And Beam Attack

While fighting, you'll also want to keep an eye on the status effect it hits you with during most of its moves: Electro Flare. If you have under four stacks of Electro Flare, you'll have your Attack reduced by four percent.

If you get over five stacks, it'll reduce your attack by seven percent and inhibit your movement, and if it hits max, you'll have a whopping ten percent attack reduction.

Your lock-on effect works even while the boss is invisible, and it can help you know where it is constantly.

Electro Flare stacks will gradually wear off if you avoid being inflicted with more of them, but most of Tempest Mephis' attacks can inflict it, so make sure you dodge as much as possible. If you get too many stacks, stick to the edge of the area to try and avoid the boss until they go down.

Recommended Characters And Echoes

While the Tempest Mephis is fast, the amount of counter-attack opportunities you get make it easier than some 1🔯68澳洲幸运5开奖网:other Overlord class bosses like the Crownless, and even without knocking its Vibration Strength down, the boss takes plenty of regular damage.

For supporting characters, Baizhi or Verina are excellent options for healing and can help keep your characters alive if you end up getting hit by too many of the boss' combos, and if you just want to go for more offense while also shielding some damage, Jingxin can do both at the same time.

Avoid bringing Electro users like Yuanwu and Calcharo to this fight, as the boss has high Electro resist and won't take much damage from them.

Tempest Mephis Rewards

Once you reach SOL3 Phase Three or above, the Tempest Mephis will also start dropping Hidden Thunder Tacet Cores, which is an Ascension Material used for certain Electro characters such as Yuanwu, and it will drop one or two of them per battle.

Bosses like Tempest Mephis will respawn after a few minutes have passed if you stay in the area, and don't need to be resummoned, so be careful if you go AFK near one.

Alongside the different EXP and item rewards, you also have a fairly high chance of being able to absorb a Tempest Mephis Echo after beating the fight.

This Echo will scale according to your Data Bank level, but it will tend to be of a higher rarity, and there isn't a limit to how many of these Echoes you can obtain per day.
