How To Beat The Bell-Borne Geochelone
The Bell-Borne Geochelone is unique among bosses in the game due to the bell found on its back. Dealing enough damage to this bell will destroy it, causing the boss to take a large amount of Vibration Strength damage. This makes it more easy to stun the boss into its vulnerable state, where you can pour on the damage.
However, getting up on the Bell-Borne Geochelone's back is another matter. The best way to get up is to use the Grapple to pull yourself onto its back. Once you're up there, attack the bell a🔯s much as you can before you're inevitably flung off.
The bell will regenerate after a few moments, allowing you to repeat this strategy. However, if you stay on the boss's back for too long, it will spawn several ice sprites around you that will conꦛtinuously fire ice🍃 shards at you. You'll have to repeatedly dodge to avoid these, or use a ranged character to take them out.
Each of the Bell-Borne Geochelone's limbs are targetable, but using the target camera against this boss can be very finicky. We recommend manually aiming your attacks instead.
The Bell-Borne Geochelone mainly uses sweeping head and tail attacks combined with powerful full-body slam attacks. None of its attacks are parryable, so you'll have to rely on dodging to avoid taking damage.
The boss will also occasionally leap into the air before descending in a large slam attack, dealing high damage. It will then roar, dealing continuous damage in the🦂 area. Try to avoid the body slam by dodging away from the boss, then stay at a distance for a moment💟 while it roars.
You'll also need to be wary of the Bell-Borne Geochelone's Glacio area attacks. These will create dangerous spots on the ground that explode in damage, so be s🗹ure to quickly get out of the way when you see them appear♍.
