is back And has a great roster of high-flying wrestlers and cruiserweights to choose from. Back in the 1980s and the 1990s, the WWE was more foc🐭used on having literal larger-than-life wrestlers. There was a time when wrestlers like Bret Hart — who was billed as being 6 foot and 235lbs — were considered small.
On a muscular guy that's huge compared to the average person. However, compared to muscular giants like Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall, Hart looked like a cruiserweight. Fast-forward to today, and it's often the cruiserweights like Rey Mysterio that put on the most entertaining matches with moves that look like they were pulled out of a video game. Thanks to stars like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rey and Eddie Guerrero wrestlers look far more relatable to the average human being. This list is going to take lo🐼ok at some of the ♕best high-flyers in WWE 2K22 based on their moveset instead of their in-game ratings.
8 ꦅ Angel Garza
Angel Garza is a Mexican luchador wrestler and a third-generation superstar. He has been compared to a young Eddie Guerrero by Vince McMahon himself, and it's easy to see why.
Despite Garza's low ratings of 79, he has an amazing set of moves. It combines a brutal rule-breaking style and high-flying moves similar to Eddie's with various Hurrcanranas, Moonsaults, and more.
7 Humberto Carril🧸lo
The cousin of Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo is anotheꩲr third-generation luchador with an incredible legacy in wrestling. Just like his cousin, H♑umberto is also very underrated in WWE 2K22 with a rating of 77.
His in-game character is still based on his days as a face/good guy, so he doesn't have the rule-breaking moveset of his cousin. However, his mix of high cross body moves and his finisher the Aztek Press is a lot of fun to play around with.
6 💃 Gran Metalik
The masked Luchador Gran Metalik is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:no longer with the WWE and is currently wrestling as Mascara Dorada🥃 in the promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. Nevertheless, based on his moveset alone he is one of the best high-flying wrestlers in the game.
His high-flying moveset includes a variety of Mo♚onsaults and Hurricanranas. He has two effective signature moves the Spiral Tap from the top rope and the Springboard Swanton fromꦛ the ring apron. His "Rope Step Tope Con Hilo" springboard attack to the ringside is one of the best moves in the game.
5 John Morrison 🐼
No longer with the WWE, John Morrison was criminally underused in the promotion and sti🔴ll has a huge fanbase. He has always implemented a high-flyinꦓg style and honed his craft even further when he wrestled for Lucha Underground and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Another low-rated superstar, Morrison has a vast 🌜moveset that includes the 450 Splash, a ran🍌ge of Hurricanranas, springboard attacks, standing Moonsaults, and more. Furthermore, he has one of the coolest finishers in the game with the Starship Pain.
4 Eddie Guerrero ꧙
There are two versions of Eddie Guerrero to unlock in WWE 2K22 and both have an excellent selection of high-flying moves. There isn't a great deal of difference between the two versions as they both have multiple versions of the Hurricanrana, and effective springboard attacks.
E𒅌ddie can take on his opponent with a variety of moves that he was renowned for, like the Tope Atomico and of course his finisher the Frog Splash. The game 💧does a great job of capturing the height that Guerrero was able to reach when hitting it.
3 AJ Styles
A wrestler that learned his craft in Japan, TNA, and on the indie circuits, AJ Styles is one of those rare wrestlers that can have amazing matches with anyone he's in the ring with. He has the mat skills to go against wrestlers like Dolph Ziggler and Bryan Danielson. Yet, his speed and high-flying moves mean he can have great matches with Luchador stars like Rey Mysterio and powerhouses like Brock Lesnar.
He has a variety of springboard moves ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚthat include the Forearm Smash and the Moonsault DDT. Then there are his signature moves like the Pele Kick, the Spiral Tap, the Springboard 450 Splash, and the Phenomenal Forearm.
2 Ricochet
Strange wrestling name aside, Ricochet is one of the most talented and impressive high-flying superstars in the WWE. His impressive range of moves transfers well to WWE 2K22's gameplay mechanics.
Moves like the Handspring Pele Kick, the Phoenix Splash, the Barrel Roll Tope, and the Dragonrana look like something only a video game could dream up. The Handstand Headscissor Takedown is one of the best-looking moves in WWE 2K22. The WWE has been on the lookout for a worthy successor to the exciting high-flying style that Rey Mysterio has and despite not being a Luchador, Ricoಌchet has t🧸he moves and the charisma to carry the torch.
1 🔯 Rey🌼 Mysterio
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cover star Rey Mysterio was part of the cruiserweight movement that was happening on WCW programming. The smaller wrestlers would often get used in warm-up matches before the main event wrestlers would arrive on the scene. However, their matches were so good that the rest of the night's competition couldn't hold a candle to stars Rey, Ultimo Dragon, Eddie Guerrero, and more.
There are several versions of Rey Mysterio to unlock and all have amazing moves, but for high-flying, the Rey Mysterio in The Phantom costume in purple is arguably the best. He has a variety of moves that transition into Hurricanranas, Sunset Flips, and more. He's the perfect style to take on the giants because of his ability to keep hitting high-risk moves that are hard to predict.
