The WWE 2K series often comes under scrutiny for several reasons. Yet, the games always excel when it comes to Easter eggs, and WWE 2K22 is no different in that regard. The game includes plenty of little secrets of all different kinds. Some are references to past games, while others ar♊e about wrestling in general.
2K22 contains so many modes and features, though, that finding every single Easter egg is tricky. After all, they can be in entrances, MyRise mode, and even the tutorial. To give you a head star▨t, here is a collection of some of the more notable ones.
8 Drew Gulak's Comments During Tutorial
Drew Gulak serves as your trainer for the tutorial of the game. During it, you're supposed to follow the instructions he gives you. But the game doesn't put any restrictions on what you can do. Therefore, you're free to perform things like springboards and dives off the top rope.
If you do so, Gulak verbally expresses his dissatisfaction. This is because not only are you disobeying his commands - you're doing so using aerial attacks. It's well-documented that the technician hates 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:even the best high-flyers and their style of wrestling. So, to see his trainee follow in their footꦅsteps hurts him to the core.
7 "One More Timꦓe!" 🍎
Sometimes in wrestling, a perso✃n will hit a big 🧸move, and the crowd will chant, "one more time!" This is often heard on AEW TV when Wardlow hits a powerbomb. The chant is also in WWE 2K22.
It occasionally triggers if you hit your opponent with the same finisher twice in quick succession. As a finisher usually stuns an opponent - meaning they can't reverse your attacks - it's typically safe to grant the fans their request as long as you've got another finisher handy. Without the stun feature, the opponent would probably reverse the move, and you'd lose the match.
6 Paul Heyman Holds Roman Reigns' Title During Entrance
On WWE TV, Paul Heyman does a lot for his client Roman Reigns, including holding his title on occasion. This often occurs at the start of the Tribal Chief's entrance as Heyman comes out carrying the championship before handing it over to Reigns. The same entrance sequence appears in WWE 2K22.
You can witness the scene if Roman is the champion and Heyman is his manager. If someone else is his manager instead, such as Jey Uso, you don't receive the same animation.
5 🌊 References To Previous Career Mode Characters
A cool aspect of 2K's WWE games is that each career mode exists in the same universe. As a result, several characters from the previous games are acknowledged in 2K22's MyRise mode.
El Mago and El Mago Jr feature in one of the stories, and it's possible to meet Buzz's biggest fan. As for Ribbie, you finally get to learn his real identity. It turns out the mascot was played by a small trainee wrestler named Chase, and if he had a rating, it would be among 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the lowest in the game.
4 Eddie Gu⭕errero Unmasks Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio's showcase mode kicks off with a bang as the first match is the classic Halloween Havoc 97 contest pitting the Luchador against Eddie Guerrero. The original stipulation of the bout was title vs mask, meaning if Mysterio won, he would gain the Cruiserweight title, but if he lost, he had to give up his iconic mask.
In the game, you're meant to win the match as Mysterio did in real life. If you lose, though, a hidden scene plays where Eddie rips off the mask. You don't get to see bare-faced Mysterio, but it's still a nice bit of attention to detail nonetheless.
3 🥂 2011 Miz Turns Michael Cole Into A Heel Again
The 2011 version of The Miz makes it into the game via showcase mode. And you may remember around this time in WWE that The Miz's biggest supporter was behind the commentary table. Michael Cole was an annoying heel who loved The Miz. Every week he would gush over the superstar regardless of what he was doing.
Well, this version ꧒of Cole returns anytime 2011 Miz makes an entrance. Once again, he gives the Awesome One a litany of compliments and insults Byron Saxton in the process. Hearing heel Cole weekly in 2010 and 2011 was annoying, but it serves as a welcome caﷺllback here.
2 Fans Concerned About Certain Wrestlers' Faces
During a match, every participant is likely to take some punishment. However, the WWE 2K22 crowd isn't a fan of certain wrestlers taking damage to their faces. At these moments, they will chant "not the face."
This is because the wrestlers in question are ones whose gimmicks revolve around their appearance. For example, you may hear the chants in Angel Garza or Carmella matches. Clearly, the fans are hoping the two wrestlers come out of their matches with their looks intact. It's a little detail that's easy to miss.
1 The Undertaker's Urn Entrance
There are several versions of The Undertaker in WWE 2K22, several of which are among 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the highest-rated people in the game. They are all from different eras of the Deadman's legendary career. However, it's strange to see the 1995 variant come out without Paul Bearer, who's not in the game. After all, the two of them were almost inseparable in the early to mid '90s.
The duo's entrance makes it into 2K22, though. It's the one where Paul Bearer walks in front of The Undertaker while holding his Urn. So, if you want to see the pair back together, you could make or download a CAW of the iconic manager and put him in a team with The Phenom.
