Wandering around the shifting Gungeon is a treacherous mission, and not only because of the Bullet Kin hiding behind tables. A good Gungeoneer has to be ready and willing to venture into rooms that appear out of nowhere, whether it's treasures that await or one of the strange beings that dwell down there.

8 🦩 Extra Chܫests
The most common thing to find in a secret room is another chest. Every floor has two chest rooms, one with a gun and one with an item. Destroying the chests can drop anything from Junk to Ammo, and from a companion to a devastating explosion. These hidden chests may even be unlocked, and are often accompanied by Keys or Armor sitting on the floor nearby. The color of the chest still determines what tier of item or gun you'll receive, but finding the treasure rooms can make or break a dungeon crawl run. The chance of the hidden chests being Mimics is the same as always unfortunately, so give them a quick blast before you approach.
7 Hidden NPCs ༺
There's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a whole cast of NPCs in this game, most of which need to be rescued from the depths of this dungeon. It'll often require a special key to get t🐷hem free, but once you do they will hang around waiting to sell you useful items from the breach or in hidden rooms.
- Winchester is both a gun and an NPC, confusingly enough. This shifty little guy has managed to set up an entire shooting game for the player, and will reward you depending on how many of the four shots hit a target. Using any gun other than the rubbish one he gives you will be seen as cheating, but items such as Jetpack and Wax Wings will not. Hit all four targets on three different runs and it'll unlock the Seven Leaf Clover.
- Three Witches can be found standing around a cauldron behind a fake wall sometimes. They will offer to trade a gun for one of the same tier or slightly better, but it comes at a price. The player will receive two Curse, making their run more difficult and eventually summoning the Lord of the Jammed.
- The Lost Adventurer resembles a hero from another game series, and he's perpetually lost. If you agree to hand over the schematics of the current Gungeon level he will reward you with a random gun or item. He can even appear on secret floors, and after helping him on all five levels of the Gungeon he will be sat in the breach with a final reward.
- Monster Manuel is Ser Manuel in disguise, and can only be encountered in the Gungeon once you've completed his secret quest involving his old partner, Blockner. He gets back into dungeoneering with your help, and offers you a prize for it.
- There are many merchants in this game, and they can be found in secret rooms on all floors. A lucky Blank or other explosion will reveal the entrance to these rooms, so keep an eye out for cracks. The merchants sell all sorts of useful things, though buying anything from Cursula will punish the player with Curse.
- Synergrace is one of the NPCs that can be saved from random jail cells in the Gungeon. She's a tall, blue lady who will then turn up and offer the player something to synergise with what they already have. Synergies are incredibly useful on any run, though you'll have to pay her before you know what you're getting.
6 Glitched꧒ Chest Floor
Chests can pop up after clearing a room sometimes, and sometimes they will look a bit....weird. If you come across a very rare glitched chest, jumping in and out of this reality, make sure you're preapred. Opening it will teleport the player to a secret floor otherwise unaccessible. There's only two rooms on this floor, leading to a boss room featuring two glitched Beholsters. Defeating them both will 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:drop incredible loot, basically ensuring a successful Gungeon run. These chests will only spawn after the🔥 player can defeated the Beholster once, and entered the Gungeon at least ten times.
5 Dead Gungeoneer Gear ꦏ
The Gungeon is hard, it's not for the weak-hearted. And not everyone makes it out, or respawns in the breach after. Some secret rooms reveal a letter and a very unfortunate fate. However, one Gungeoneer's misfortune is our lucky day! Chests and scattered objects can fill these rooms with all manner of tiered items. Remember to say a little thank you before ravaging all their loot.
4 ℱ Oubliette Entrance 🔜
An easier secret floor to get to is the Oubliette. In the Keep of the Lead Lord there is always a fireplace, and in a room nearby is a water barrel. By interacting with this barrel it can be rolled past the fireplace, extinguishing the flames and revealing a secret button at the back. Enter the fireplace and mash the interact button until a ch𒈔ime sounds out.
Somewhere on this level a new room has opened up, and to get to the Oubliette requires two keys to unlock the padlocks at the entrance. Thematically this floor resembles a sewer, with lots of poison barrels and mutated enemies. If you can keep the Old Crest safe before exiting again, then the next sec𒐪retꦿ floor becomes available.
3 �♍� The Abbey Of The True Gun
In the Gungeon Proper there's a burial chamber full of stone reliefs of fallen bullet warriors. Sliding the Old Crest into the altar will open up the hidden staircase. This game really is full of surprises. Following the stairs down will lead to the Abbey of the True Gꦇun, and the Old King. Playing through these two levels reveals a lot of hints about the Gungeon, and what might be found at the end of the game.
2 Brother Albern's Chest Of Lies
The Abbey of the True Gun always has two secret rooms; the usual that spawns on every floor with random contents, and Brother Albern's room. This floor is themed around a Gundead religion, and so some kind of monk living here seems only natural. He will ask the player a question, and if they get it right will receive a chest.
Brother Albern can very rarely spawn on other floors, but he is guaranteed on this one. If you don't need the pickups maybe try shooting his gift to reveal the Lies within (quick tip, they're useless!).
1 ꩵ Evil Munchers 💃
Gun Munchers can be found pretty commonly in secret rooms or with the Shopkeeper. But Evil Munchers are much rarer, and one will always spawn in Bullet Hell. Unlike their less evil counterpart, they will not spit out a better gun after being fed. Instead, it takes ten guns donated over the course of multiple runs to get the Gunslinger's Ashes gun unlocked. From then on any gun given to an Evil🅷 Muncher has a 25% chance to spawn an A or S tier gun for the player to ♍pick up.
