Undead Labs is a talented set of developers that are seemingly learning more and more through the years. In both State of Decay and State of Decay 2, they showcased that they have a real passion for zombie-infested worlds that players can explore either solo or with some friends. It'll be interesting to see how big the leap is for them beܫtween the 2nd and 3rd game in the series. There was a 5-year gap between the first two games but now that they're owned by Microsoft, don't be surprised if you see them tease the 3rd game in 2020.

The game w🌠as developed with the support of publisher Private Division as an indie game of sorts. Obsidian Entertainment is now owned by Microsoft which means the sequel to this breakout hit IP will now have the budget and resources provided to them as a🍸 first-party developer.
