So, here we are. Summer break is over, tans from our vacations are starting to fade, and a lot of us are back at school. Naturally, we’re going to have a whole range of mixed feelings about that, but there’s one thing we can always count on: back to school sales, back to school advice, the dang words back to school being embl🌠azoned everywhere. Don’t worry, though, because Xbox Game Pass is here with some super helpful advice.

That’s just the way it is this time of year. The memes start to surface, comparing how you start the school year (a spiffy new pencil case full of spiffy new stationery, eager to get back into things) with how you close out the year (only one chewed stub of a pencil left, your brain frazzled a𓂃nd stressed to oblivion). Naturally, t𒁃hese sorts of jokes are what social media lives for.

Feeling those early September vibes, the official account wanted to get in on the action too. They’re not an account to take especially seriously as it is (“Made front page of r/fellowkids 9/7/2018,” their account proudly boasts), so tongues were going to be firmly plantedཧ in cheeks whenever they offered advice. Still, this little doozy is worth sharing with everyone.

Naturally, this one struck quite a chord over on the Xbox One Reddit, where users gatheredও to appreciate the humor and share stories about their past professors. It’s nostalgic and uplifting, and exactly what suffering students the world over need to see right about now.

Having said that, there’s an important elephant in the room to address here. Historically, video games and school have never been the greatest of friends. Who wants to sit down and tackle some super-complex long division homework when Fortnite or Minecraft are a-waiting? Nobody, that’s who, and tha🐼t’s the problem. It’s one of the oldest problems surroundin🃏g gaming, really, the industry’s been getting backlash for decades for distracting children.

But whaꦚt about the contrasting evidence that seeks to prove gaming (in moderation) is good for students? And everybody else?

That’s a debate for another day. The important thing is, as we’ve esta📖blished, the Xbox Game Pass social media team are hilarious.
