Epic doesn’t ꧂seem to be all that interested in the Xbo꧅x Series X if the latest interviews on the Unreal 5 Engine are any indication.

Earlier this week, we got to see how the PlayStation 5 is able to handle Epic’s latest iteration of their Unreal game engine. Called “168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lumen in the land of Nanites,” the technology demo 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:was extremely impressive and gave us a preview of what next-gen games might look like on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5.

But how would it look on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X? 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:We still don’t know, and interviews with Epic boss Tim Sweeney ಌaren’t really giving us any clues either.

In a recent interview with , the ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚonly time Sweeney even mentioned the Xbox was to refer to previous generations of gaming. "If you look at the signature games of each previous generation, like on the Xbox 360 generation, it wasn’t until Gears and similar games began shipping in year two that the capabilitie💟s of the platform were fully demonstrated,” he said.

On the other hand, Sweeney had only praise to offer Sony’s PlayStaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtion 5, and especially when it came to memory bandwidth. “The storage architecture in PlayStation 5 is far ahead of anything that you can buy on any PC for any amount of money right now. And it’s great to see that sort of innovation that’s gonna help drive future PCs. They’re gonna see this thing ship and realize ‘oh, wow, M2 SSDs, I need to catch up with this.’”

But what about the Xbox Series X? 🌳Not a word. We don’t even know if Epic has even tried to run Unreal 5 on the new Xbox, let alone whether or not it would run equally well. One wonders if Epic is bothering to test Unreal 5 on the Xbox Series X given how silent they’ve been on the Microsoft-branded console.

Technically, the Xbox Series X has greater computational power than the PlayStation 5, but t🙈he way Epic is describing things, it sounds like Sony might have sacrificed a bit of power for more efficient architecture. This could determine the winner of the next big console war as Microsoft and Sony face off later this winter.
