So who's excited for Fall, also known as the time for the video game deluge of Xbox titles? No one can deny the power that is Marvel’s Avengers, which is coming out on September 4, and Cyberpunk 2077, which is due out on November 19. Those games, if they don’t get delayed, will assuredly be huge. Similarly, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time and Star Wars: Squadrons, which are launching the same 💎day on October 2, also 😼look like they will be hot sellers.
But what about the games without dates? Well, from July 21 to July 27, Xbox One will be getting demos as part of Summer Game Fest. Some of which may be on this list as they are boasting at least sixty titles. Will those come with dates? Who knows, but for now, ♌let’s take a look at s༒ome upcoming Xbox One games.
10 12 Minutes
12 Minutes was announced in 2015 and is set to launch this year on PC and Xbox One. The game is basically a Groundhog Day scenario in which the player relives the last twelve minut🧜es on repeat until they prevent them🔯selves, their wife and unborn child from getting murdered.
It takes place💫 in on🐼e apartment, or at least that’s what has been shown so far. There could be a twist, though
9 Carrion
Carrion was announced in 2019 and is set to launch this year on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. Devolver Digital, the publisher, describes it as a “reverse horror game” which basically means players assume the r♕ole of the monster.
The main goal of the game is to escape from captivity by eating and breaking through roadblocks. It’s like The Blob: The Game, but bloodier.
8 The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope was 𒁃technically announced in 2019 and is set to launch some time this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The first part of this anthology actually came out last year and it was already known that there was more to come. While this upcoming episode looks like it’s taking a page right out of Silent Hill, it instead uses ꦇa style more of similar to narrative driven adventure game rather than the typical survival-horror game.
7 Double Kick Heroes
Double Kick Heroes was announced in 2018 and is set to launch this year on PC, Switch, and Xbox One. The game has been in Early Access on Steam since 2018 so i🤡t should be just about time to come out officially.
Dates asides, this is a rhythm based shooter wherein a metal band is trying to esca♒pe zombie hordes with their slicked out roadster. Tap to the beat, blow up heads. It’s that simple.
6 Empire of Sin
Empire of Sin was announced in 2019 and is set to launch this year on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. It is a strategy game similar to the X-Com titles but instead of sci-fi🔯, this game is set in 1920's Chicago, right around the peak o🍎f the Prohibition and organized crime.
The goal of the game is to become the number one crime boss in Chicago. Tꦐake down rival gangs and make some big moves all i🍌n the name of success.
5 Fuser
Fuser was announced earlier this year and is also set to launch this year on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. It is from Harmonix, aka the Rock Band team.
This game is actually a rebranding or reboot of an idea they made a few years ago called DropMix. In the previous game, the main idea was to mashup songs together using cards. There are no cards in Fuser, though, so 🦩right out of the gate, tꩵhis game's price tag is not going to be as astronomical.
4 Ikenfell
Ikenfell was announced in 2018 and is set to launch this year on PC and Xbox One. 🐬The game is about a magical school wher🐬ein kids attend to learn magic. Sound familiar?
It is an 8-bit turn based RPG and while fans wait for that supposed Harry Potter RPG, this may be the next best thing. Evern better, Inkfell has an EarthBound vibe as well.
3 RPG Time: The Legend of Wright
RPG Time: The Legend of Wright was announced in 2019 and is set to launch this year on mobile devices, PC, and Xbox One. This game looks unique and the best way to describe is𒉰 to tell readers to watch the trailer.
It’s basically a pen and paper RPG, literally, where doodles come to life. It’s like Paper Mario, bu🔯t if those games were based on actual drawings from kids.
2 Sable
Sable was announced in 2018 and is set to launch this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Not much is known ꦕabout the game since it was shown at E3 in 2018 and that has b🍌een pretty much it.
The official description is as follows: “Sable is a coming-of-age tale of discovery through exploration across a strikingly rendered open world desert.” The game could them be linked to Journey, but if that game had a hover bike.
1 UnDungeon
UnDungeon was announced in 2017 and is set to launch this year on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. The game is an roguelike action RPG and looks a bit like Oddworld mixed with a samurai-styled Western.
There is a demo out for it now on Steam for those that really want to༒ check it out. Based on feedback, it looks like it’s shaping up to be another mesmerizing roguelike that could be hard to put down.
