2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, and developers hoping to show off their newest games at conventions like E3, PAX, and others have been left with no choice but to consider alternate arrangements with conventions being cancelled around the world. Glenn Gregory, Senior Product Marketing Manager for Xbox, has an event where th🍸e experience will be adapted —🦩 in a manner of speaking — giving players access to over 60 brand-new game demos that can be tried for free through the Xbox Dashboard.
While the news is certainly exciting, Gregory was quick to poin🥃t out that players need to keep a few things in mind to avoid building up unrealistic expectations. For starters, these are not the typical demos that a convention attendee would see in person. The demos that players find online through their consoles are usually built following the completion of a game to entice players into making a purchase. These demos on the other hand will be for titles that will not see a formal release for some time, and as such, they will be early builds that neౠed more time to evolve and receive the polish necessary before launching.
Next, while there are plenty of demos to try out, time is limited. These demos will disappear from the Xbox Dashboard only a week🉐 after arriving, so players should check out their favorites as quickly as possible to avoid missing out. Finally, developers generally benefit from feedback acquired during conventions and demo testing, so providing this precious information through social media or their official websites is highly encouraged, as constructive criticism can push a game from good, to great.
For now, it seems that the total number of games is up in the air. 60 is mentioned often in the announcement, and that seems to be a safe, bare miܫnimum number of participants expected during the week-long event. However, Gregory also states that they expect between 75-100 titles. The full list is going to be announced on July 21, right when the event begins, so keep an eye out for that.
For now, there are a few titles guaranteed to be available, including Skatebird. This game looks outstanding, both because the image of small birds grinding on skateboards is adorable, and because it reminds us of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tony Hawk games, which are also seeing a resurgence in the near future. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destroy All Humans! will also be available in a demo form, looking mostly complete i♚n its remake of the popular original title.
