XCOM 2 Collection is now available on the App Store. Feral Inte💮ractive's popular strategy game costs more than your typical iOS game at $25, but includes the War of the Chosen expansion along with four other DLC packs.

You'll need a decent amount of storage space available to download XCOM 2 Collection, which requires at least 8.5GB for installation. Interestingly, though, the d🔯evelopers "recommend having at least 17GB of free space to avoid installation issues." Feral Interactive is also adamant that you check the list of supported devices before making a purchase. XCOM 2 is a demanding game – a powerful phone is needed in order to run it at a playable framerate❀.

A few adjustments were made to XCOM 2 Collection in order to bring the beloved game to the small screen. The biggest change is the new touch-screen Command Interface, designed specifically for mobile. This is intended to make it easy to navigate the in-game menus and command your squad without getting bogged down with too much on the screen. Mobile ⛄ports often have issues𓃲 overcoming the decrease in display real estate, but the Command Interface design seems to be an elegant solution to the issue.

Best of all, there are no in-app purchases or microtransactions. Once you've dropped your $25, you've got everything XCOM 2 Collection has to offer. Because it comes with the War of the Chosen expansion and four DLC packs, you'll get access to new𝓰 missions, soldier types, and enemies not seen in the base game. It might be an aging title, but $25 for one of the greatest strategy games of the past decade – along with relevant DLC – actually seems likౠe a fair price.

Android us💫ers will need to wait a bit longer to get their hands on XCOM 2, as Feral Interactive said it will be com♑ing some time in 2021. Nothing official beyond that has been announced, but it's encouraging to know that the iOS exclusivity isn't permanent.
