Ever since its 2014 debut, Amiibo has become one of the most celebrated toys-to-life platforms in the world. Created as Nintendo's response to popular examples like Skylanders, Amiibo has now outlived its competition, escaping from the fall of toys-to-life profits thanks to the diehard dedication of Nintendo fans to swoop up figurines of their favorite characters.
While it's true that Amiibo production has slowed down drastically from its fever pitch several years ago, in-game functionality still pops up often. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the latest hot title to offer Amiibo integration — so come find out if it's worth digging up your beloved little statues to help Noah and Mio on their journey.
How To Scan Amiibo
You'll probably want to know how to register Amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 before we jump into what you'll get out of it. It's not hard! Just follow these steps:
- Pull up the main menu in-game.
- Select the System tab.
- In the System menu, select (you'll never guess) the Amiibo option.
- If you're using a Joy-Con, place your Amiibo figurine above the joystick. If you're using a Pro Controller, do so instead at the top-middle portion of the controller. You'll see diagrams for both on your screen, but we've included a screenshot above for good measure.
Voila. X🍎enoblade Chronicles 3 will read the Amiibo and rewa💖rd you accordingly.
Shulk And The Monado
By far the most impressive prize you'll acquire through any Amiibo is the Monado, provided by none other than the original Xenoblade hero himself. Scanning a Shulk Amiibo gets you a "skin" for the Swordfighter's weapon that transforms it into the famed Monado.
Do note that you can acquire this in-game as well, but only through New Game Plus. It's nice that the option is there for folks who would rather not track down a years-old action figure, but you'll get immediate access to the cosmetic if you do happen to own a Shulk of your very own.
What Else Can You Unlock?
All other Am🐻iibo provide players with one of 21 sets of items. As far as we can tell, the results are random rathe𒁏r than tied to specific figurines.
You can use up to three Amiibo per day, so you can gather three batches of collectibles every 24 hours. None of these sets are especially groundbreaking, but their materials can add up quickly if you're looking to max out your Collectaepedia choices. If nothing else, they can be sold for some quick cash.
It's free stuff for a minimum of effort, so maybe keep a few Amiibo on the coffee table while you're making your way through Xenoblade Chronicles 3's epic tale.
