Even if you see them, you may not know which locations to visit, preventing you from reaching the next clue if you don't know the paths. Since this quest can quickly become frustrating and may take a few hours to solve, a guide can help you through it.

How To Start If Walls Could Speak

Once the quest becomes available, you'll find some graffiti in Colony 9. Go to the Command Center and leave through the north exit. You'll travel west, climb the ladder, and encounter the graffiti to your left. Examine it, and you'll receive the following riddle as your first clue:

"On high plain dusking, a ruined keep, a mere step beyond, the gates of hel𝔉l sleep."

While you can use the quest tracer for most quests, this one won't show you the path to reach it, making it challenging to solve the puzzle. However, the game does help by having a magnifying glass appear on the map if you get close enough to the clue.

You can't finish this quest until you have access to the last area of the game. If you don't know which one's the last, it's the fifth one.

How To Solve The First Clue

An image of the party standing in front of a graffiti hint for the If Walls Could Speak quest along with a map in Xenoblade Chronicles 3:: Future Redeemed.

The hint refers to the plain area of the game, which is the Aurora Shelf. On the Aurora Shelf, you'll come across multiple ruined structures, though the riddle refers to one near a chasm, which is the gates of hell.

If you found the Echos of Gran Dell Citadel Landmark, fast-travel there and go between the walls to the northwest. You'll see the graffiti on the west wall, along the southeast corner of the chasm.

If you haven't discovered that landmark, you should fast-travel to the Elevator, Upper Landing Landmark. Ma🎀ke your way into🍃 the valley from the west side of the landmark.

Travel north, then northeast through the Ragrinar Passage and under the Gaur Vi༒aduct. Move toward the stone structure ahead, and go around the east side of it.

The second clue will be graffiti on the wall close to the southeast corner of the chasm. Examining it will give you the next clue:

"꧃Vertiginous air, ancient royal throne, on bare black ro♑ck face, standing alone."

How To Solve The Second Clue

A collage of A coming across a clue for the If Walls Could Speak quest with the map location in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed.

The clue hints at an area with a royal throne and black rock faces, making the Black Mountains your location. You'll need to look for a former stone castle to finish this one.

You'll need to get far into the Black Mountains to reach this location. Continue through the path as normal until you reach the Mt. Nagul Viewing Deck Landmark.

Build the Ether Slide to the east, or head north and hop across the rocks.

Don't worry if you fall, since you'll return to the Mt. Nagul Viewing Deck, allowing you to try again.

After hopping across the rocks, climb the vines nearby and the next set to the east. After climbing up, jump down to the east, and you'll be in front of the gates where the Ether Slide leads.

From the front gates, travel northeast and repair the Ether Lift, which requires two Lacquer Stones, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and one Ether Cylinder. You'll automatically have Photonium from the required Ether Lift Research quest you finished earlier.

As for the other materials, you can use 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your upgraded X-Reader to find various Black Crystals and Ether Cylinders around the area, and the Lacquer Stone is a standard ore꧟ pickup in the Black Mountains. If you need to lookไ for some, go to the beginning of the area and look for ore.

Go up the Ether Lift and jump up the ledge to the right. Drop down the east side of it, and you'll encounter the graffiti with your third clue:

"A single ascension, four fearless flings, light rays' guidance to whence all springs."

The third clue refers to how you must use four Ether Slides to reach the location, using the light as a guide. It'll end at the first location in the game, the Vermilion Woods. Before going through this section, you'll need the following items to build the four Ether Slides and an Ether Lift.

Required Items

Where You Can Find Them

4 Wool Rocks

An ore pickup in Yesterdale. You can find them around the entrance and the area ꦦbefore you reach Colony 9.

4 Noise Bites

An ore pickup from the Aurora Shelf, which you can find⛎ near mountains and the edges of the map. The lower level near the elevator also works.

2 Flake Crystals

An ore pickup from Vermilion Woods is near the game's starting point. You should look along the rock formations in that area.

1 Photonium

You automatically get this when you complete the Ether Lift Research quest.

4 Black Shards

You'll find them throughout the game, so search for them or use an upgraded X-Reader. If you struggle to find them, check along the edges of maps and anywhere with black fog. Ether Cylinders are easy 🎐to see from a distance, thanks to their green light.

After repairing the previous slide, go south to another Ether Slide repair location and use it. Travel south through a burnt-down village and𒉰 continue to another Ether Slide at the south-most point.

You'll encounter a Fog Rift, so take out the enemies before you continue.

Go southwest from there and build another Ether Slide. At the following location, hop down the cliff to the west, and you'll find the graffiti to the south with your final clue:

"Eyes high at the gate, an old kingdom's fall, eyes at the ground, the king's last recall."

How To Solve The Final Clue

The last one refers to a large gate in the Ragmos Desolation. If you found the Fallen Gate of Ulcaria Landmark, you can fast-travel to it, and you'll reach the final part of the quest.

If not, go to the Oracle Spire Landmark. Travel northeast across the bridge, enter the structure, and descend the💮 stairs to your left. Take an immediate left and travel up the stairs.

Travel toward the west side of the structure, and you'll eventually reach a hill. Travel north down the hill, and loop around the wall to the west until you're traveling southwest away from the structure. You should encounter a stone archway standing on its own.

Once you reach this point, you'll get a cutscene and finish the quest. Completing it will get you experience, gold, and an Accessory Unlock Kit to improve your party.
