168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xenoblade Chronicles 3 trades in its direct predecessor's love of Blades in favor of Heroes. Both games treat their secondary playable cast in different ways; Rex and Pyra's adventure involves up to three Drivers at a time linking up to as many as three Blades simultaneously. Noah and Mio's own saga grants players access to a whopping six fully unique characters in most battles, and a seventh — a Hero — can be swapped at will.

Heroes not only help diversify your party, but they each come with their own unique class that can then be learned by every member of the main cast. Among them, Valdi and his Warrior Medic will be one of your earliest unlocks. Here's how to do just that.

What Is The War Medic Class?

Xenoblade 3 Valdi War Medic

To be blunt, War Medic is a terrific class. We realize we've said that about several classes, and we stand by them, one and all, but War Medic is surely up there with the best of them.

What makes it so good? Well, think about how crucial Healer classes are in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It's so rarely acceptable to march into battle without at least one (and usually you'll want two) that the game's own script beats it into our brains when Taion berates Lanz for thinking otherwise.

The War Medic class is healing-focused, through and through, bringing mighty heal spells that outmatch most of the competition. Furthermore, debuffing status-afflicted party members tends to service them beneficially, making them even more capable.

One of their Class Skills is called 'Recovery Engine', and it grants a boost to the strength of their healing. It's temporary, of course, but it's like the enemy is trying to get killed when a War Medic's on the scene. War Medic's also got AOE (area of effect) heal spells for days, and you'll likely learn very early into Xenoblade Chronicles 3 that such things are critical to success against most foes at your level or higher.

How To Unlock The War Medic Class

Xenoblade 3 War Medic Valdi Sad

Some characters just hit us where it hurts emotionally. Valdi's one of those kids. He's had it rough, and the game goes to great efforts to impart that upon us. His recruitment quest, which is, in fact, mandatory main story material, occurs during Chapter Three.

Valdi's quest, 'The Kind Right Hand', will occur when the party is well on their way to following Silver Ethel's directions toward Swordmarch. Feel free to laugh when they reach a dead end and search for a climbable wall despite there being blatantly climbable purple vines directly behind Noah at the time. No wonder the Cliff Clmbing ability isn't unlocked yet.

While we tend to go more in-depth with Hero/Class recruitment quests, Valdi's is very cinematic, which is to say rather straightforward as well. You won't be moving around much at all. Enjoy the theatrics that Moebius always brings to the table and be gladdened when Noah's party has a sad boy in their squad (and can recognize purple vines now to boot — what would Shulk and Rex think, seeing this?).
