In Yakuza, you will find a🅺 lot of restaurants to visit when you are low🍸 on health. Some will have substories associated with them, while others will have a tasty meal combo for you to discover. These are some of the best places to sit down and relax while you fight your way across Japan.
10 Café Alps 🌳 💜
Café Alps is a location that you will un𓃲intentionally return to frequently throughout the series. Whether you are meeting up with your partners and coworkers, or just wandering into the shop after being dropped off at Kamurocho’s shining red gate, you will probably end up in Café Alps for a slice of cake, a cup of coffee, or a filling dish of curry.
Café Alps might not be the cheapest option, but it will do in a pinch if you find yourself fighting on Nakamichi Street. Plus, 🉐in Yakuza 3, there is a whole murder mystery substory for you to solve in this café, allowing you to play detective without the help of Takayuki Yagami.
9 Kanrai
If you have a craving for Korean barbeque and Bibimbap, look no further than Kanrai. Located in Kamurocho, this yakiniku restaurant is definitely on the pricier side when it comes to 🔥sit-down meals. But who can resist the temptation of freshly grilled meat and spicy kimchi? Not to mention that the descriptions꧒ for Kanrai’s meal choices from Yakuza Kiwami 2 are downright mouthwatering.
Be sure to order a combo meal, as that way you can max out your stats quicker. Doꦛing so will guarantee the most bang for your yen.
8 Tamasa Ram🌞en
In Yakuza 5, Kiryu is temporarily separated from his family and works as a taxi driver in Nagasugai. During his time here, if you walk to the riverbank at night, you will find a small shop called Tamasa Ramen. In Yakuza 6 you will find that, once you leave Kamurocho, there are not a lot of options for food. In On🌳omichi, Hiroshima there are only four restaurants for you to go to. And one of them is located on the other side of town.
Luckily, the Oyster Shack is right in front of your new apartment. If you are a lover of all things oysters and sashimi, you will enjoy eating here. With its decent prices and smoky atmosphere, it🐷 is a good place to stop and fuel up at beꩵfore exploring the town.
5 Kyushu No. 1 Sta🌸r
Kyushu No. 1 Star is another recurring restaurant in the Yakuza series. This establishment specializes in ramen that can satisfy your needs at prices that will not empty your wallet. If you find yourself on one of Kamurocho’s side streets and are in need of a quick meal, then this is a great place to refuel. The best part abꦚout dining at Kyushu N🐷o. 1 Star, however, is what happens in Yakuza Kiwami 2.
After you complete the substory called ‘A Soupy Sidekick’, you will unlock the Essence of Noodles. For this Essence, a member of the Kyushu No. 1 Star staff will toss you a bowl of ramen that you can the♕n use to knock ou🙈t your enemies in combat. How’s that for soup’s up?
4 Jumangoku Chinese Soba
As mentioned in a previous entry, there are not a lot of food choices in Onomichi, so you will have to be careful when picking fights and ne💧eding healing at short notice. Fortunately, there is another restaurant near your new apartment that you can go toඣ for a quick bite.
You can go to Jumangoku Chinese Soba and get yourself a bowl of Onomichi ra💎men — the same Onomichi ramen that is on the head of Ono Michi, the town mascot that Kiryu dresses up as in a few of the substories. Make sure to try the Large Chashu Onomochi Ramen while you are there!
3 💦 Umachi Diner 🌠
In Yakuza 3, you will spend a large chunk of the story not in the bustling city of Kamurocho, but in the seaside paradise of Okinawa. Trying the local cuisine here is a mus⭕t.
So, why not stop by Umachi Diner? This restaurant offers Okinawan specialties like Bitter Melon Stir-Fry and Glazed Pork. As there aren't a lot of places to eat in Okinawa, and you will only be seeing this side of the city in Yakuza 3, make sure you order everything off the menu when you have the chance.
2 🤪 Smile Burger ♈
Though there might not be a McDonald's in the Yakuza series, there is a Smile Burger. Scratch that, there are multiple Smile Burgers. From the busy streets of Kamurocho to Sotenbori and beyond, you will always find a Smile Burger.

The Heroine Karaoke Bar from Yakuza 0 is memorable for one thing and one thing only — karaoke. It's a hole-in-the-wall establishment located on one of Kamurocho’s side streets. Their menu is small, offering only alcohol and bar snacks.
However, what they ౠlack in meal choices they make up for in tunes. You will be brought to this bar moments after starting Yakuza 0, and you will find yourself singing your heart out while Nishikiyama, the bartender, patrons, and a green parrot-like mascot cheer for you on the sidelines. Don’t forget to sing ‘Baka Mi𝕴tai’ before you leave!
