Judgment and all of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Yakuza games are pretty wild. That’s what so many fans love about the series as that escalation is very exciting to see play out. Judgment might be the most grounded in the 🙈series, or at least it clearly wants to be.
At its core, Judgment is a detective story about a fallen lawyer trying to redeem himself. In order to be exciting, the clues provided have to fit together perfectly, wh🍃ich they mostly do. However, like most video game stories, it’s not without some gaps in logic, be it story beats or gameplay mechanics.
Disclaimer: While there aren’t many, please note that some💮 spoilers will be included.
10 Yagami’s Living Situation 🍸
How long has Yagami been sleeping in his office and on his couch? 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Three years since he ꧟quit being a lawyer? That’s a long time to seemingly only sleep on a couch. Fro♚m the activity he is getting from fighting, one would think he wouldn’t be as agile due to back problems.
Maybe this is the comfiest couch in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:entire Yakuza universe. This also happens at Genda Law too so maybe Japan, in general, has the best couches in the world💜.
9 𝕴 Sensible Dialogue Choices Gett🐼ing Docked
There are dialogue choices in the game but they don’t affect the plot at all. Instead, choosing what is assumed to be the right ans🌠wer or answers will net players bonus SP, aka S🎃kill Points.
It doesn’t really make sense why though. All questions are relevant to the cases involved and a good detective leaves n꧂o stone unturned. The uneven SP distributi🌼on is odd messaging.
8 ⛎ Convenie🧸nt Drone Parts Scattered Around Town
Once players take part in the drone racing mini-game, which already doesn’t make much sense, they can start finding scattered parts around th👍e city. Not only that but the places where these parts can be found are often respawn🏅 points.
In the context o🧸f the game, you can assume the places involved are on the race track routes, meaning that destroyed drones will leave parts behind. That’s a stretch to assume on the player's end, especially since some of these parts are inside buildings.
7 Kung-Fu Lꦏawyer 𝓀
The game explains Yagami's martial arts ability by saying that his father taught him. It is best to not question why everyone is so skilled at street brawling in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Yakuza series as it's all a little iffy.
Yagami can be good at martial arts then that’s no problem. It’s hard to understand how he has the strength to lift up park benches and utterly destroy them with one strike to an enemy though. He’🐼s not swole like Arnold Schwarzenegge🍎r.
6 Side Cases During Main Missions ဣ
The plot has some filler areas that are easy to spot because they often aren’t voiced. On top of that, sometimes they are referred to as side cases. This doesn’t make sense because they can’t be skipped. Calling 🌌somethin🙈g a "side blank" usually means it’s unnecessary and thus skippable.
That’s not to say that some of them aren’t great, particularly the𓄧 one that puts Hoshino on trial for a missing dessert. It would have just been better if these really were side cases and not mandatory since the naming convention makes the whole thing weird.
5 Pocket 🍌Cats
Judgment's Detect👍ive Life Fun pack DLC allows you to decorate Yagami’s office, with cats being one of the options. These items can be found outside the office in the mailbox.
Firstly, are people delivering cats in the mail? Secondly, is Yagami storing live ca💫ts in his poc♐kets? You can probably see where the logic questions pop up.
4 Guns Are 🎀Dangerous Except When They're Not
Guns are a rare item to get ahold of in Japan in real life, a fact that is reflected in Judgment as well as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:other Yakuza titles. While they are treated like the deadly weapons they are in cutscenes, in gameplay, getting shot🐼 is like getting punched.
A gunshot in a cutscene almost means death for the character; conversely, if Yagami is shot in battle, itꦍ’s labeled as a Mortal Wound but doesn’t really reduce his life bar too much.
3 🌜 Trailing Familiar Characters
The i🔯dea of trailing someone in this game has a litany of issues to it. First of a🌊ll, players are often not asked to wear a disguise. This doesn’t make sense if the person being followed knows who Yagami is.
For example, when Yagami is following Higashi to his arcade for the first time. If Yagami is seen by Higashi that should be it, game over, but it’s not. It’s just another one of those 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yakuza game mechanics fanಌs have to ignore in order to enjoy the story.
2 Disgꦺuise Inconsistencies ✱
On the subject of disguises, there are iꦦnconsistencies with this mechanic as well. To go back to Higashi as an example, you can wear Yagami’s hat and sunglasses getup to sneak into the arcade.
The rest of Yagami's clothes are the same as always. Cﷺonsidering Yagami wears the same things on a regular basis, it’s not a disguise at all. How can that fool anyone?
1 ꧒ A Bull Walks Into A China Shop 💛
To use the arcade as one final exampl🌟e, in order to talk to Higashi, Yagami has to fight his underling. In the process, this can lead to the destruction of the entire arcade.
Firstly, these arcade machines break down like cardboard. Secondly, no one says anything about it as if it is normal. Thirdly, everything is fixed upon walking back in. Is there a secret society in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Yakuza games that fixes everything after a battle?
