During most of the Yakuza series, Kiryu wears his signature gray suit and red shirt combination. In fact, he only dons different apparel if he's forced to or if it's useful for a mission. As a result, the suit can get boring to look at if you spend significant time playing the games.
Thankfully, in Yakuza Kiwami, you can change what the protagonist is wearing. However, the game doesn't make it obvious how you do so. Plus, there are limitations to the outfit changing mechanic. Don't worry, though, as here's everything you need to do to swap your clothes in Yakuza Kiwami.
Finish The Main Story To Unlock Premium Adventure
During the main narrative, you can get 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:many great upgrades for Kiryu. Unfortunately, though, you can't upgrade his wardrobe.
The ability to change clothes is only available in the Premium Adventure mode that you unlock for beating the story. It's easy to find, as once the narrative is complete, the mode is listed on the main menu.
Pick Up Outfits From Bob The Clown
There's no reason to change outfits if you've got nothing to wear. So, if you don't already have all of the clothes, speak with series regular Bob Utsunomiya.
The man stands by the entrance to Tenkaichi Street. He's easy to spot because, as always, he's dressed as a clown.
When conversing with the man, select the 'Pick Up Items' option, which will allow you to see the merchandise packs in his possession. You may as well grab each one as they're free.
Head To Serena And Get Changed
Once you have the outfits, you can head to the Serena hideout, which you've been to multiple times before.
When you get there, interact with the door next to the bar, then select the option to change your outfit. Afterward, you will be able to choose from a list of all of the costumes you own. Here are all of the options:
- Gray Suit - This is Kiryu's default gray suit and red shirt combo.
- Dragon Tattoo - When things get serious in the series, the protagonist tends to rip off his suit jacket and shirt to display his iconic dragon back tattoo. This outfit is that shirtless version of Kiryu.
- Inmate 1240 - With this apparel, you can take Kiryu back to his prison days as it's the same garb he wore while locked up. It even comes with the buzzcut that the protagonist sported while behind bars.
- Black Suit - During chapter 3, Kiryu dons a sharp black suit for a funeral at Tojo Clan Headquarters. You can probably work out that this is the suit he was wearing for the event.
- Snake Skin Jacket - If 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:triggering all of the Maji𓆏ma encounters isn't enough, you can dress like the Mad Dog to make it feel like he's around. This Snake Skin Jacket is the same one the entertaining character wears.
