fans are worried about everyone's favourite stoic protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, after the latest trailer for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Like A Dragon Gaiden showed him uncharacteristically weeping.

Earlier today, Sega and RGG Studio gave Yakuza fans their that detailed the game's plot and gameplay mechanics (as well as revealing an Infinite Wealth demo that's included with the game). The trailer might have gotten fans excited about Gaiden, but it's also got them quite worried thanks to a quick scene towards the end that shows Kiryu breaking down.

Towards the end of the story trailer, Kiryu can be seen sitting down in the same location that he was seen in when the game was first revealed. As the camera pans towards his face, we can see that he's openly crying his eyes out, something that we've never really seen him do in previous Yakuza games, with the closest time being (spoilers for Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 5 incoming) when he watched Rikꩵiya die in Yakuza 3 and saw Daigo get shot in Yakuza 5.

Even in those incredibly sad scenes, Kiryu was nowhere near as emotional as he is in this brief shot from the Like A Dragon Gaiden trailer. During the scene, he also says this, "I approached the Daidoji and declared I would die. I've given up my past, my life, and even my name". It's not clear if Kiryu's emotional reaction is just him finally processing everything that's happened to him since Yakuza 6, or if something even more tragic is going on, but it's a surprising scene considering how quiet the character usually is.

Yakuza fans have quickly taken notice of the shocking moment, too. As highlighted by GamesRadar+, the Yakuza subreddit has several highly-rated posts that are sharing Kiryu's crying and reacting accordingly. , "This is so heartbreaking man... This game is going to be fire", while another from Redditor DarryLazakar says, "YOKOHAMA WHAT DID YOU DO TO KIRYU. I'VE NEVER SEEN HIM THIS BROKEN SINCE YAKUZA 3 WHAT THE HELL."

Other fans have been sharing the still and noting that it shows how "broken" Kiryu is going to be in Like A Dragon Gaiden, something that makes sense considering all that's happened to him, but wasn't quite made clear considering how most of the footage so far has been showing off his new grappling hook weapon and spy attire. It'll be interesting to see how he goes from this breakdown to the strange-haired hardass we see in Infinite Wealth.
