On the surface, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yakuza: Like A Dragon might seem like the silliest of all the Yakuza games. And it is, but not by the wide margin people seem to think it is. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Most of these absurd characters, hilarious situations, or side-splitting stories were in a large majority of the other Yakuza ti♐tles, just hidden within side-stories.
In any case, since Yakuza: Like A Dragon is the most outwardly silly and experimental the franchise has ever been, it seemed like a good time to talk about some of the more absurd stuff players can experience in it, both thematically and 💯mechanically.
10 Dress The Party Up As Past Yakuza Characters 𒊎
Speaking of past Yakuza games, turns out each of the assignable jobs/classes have costumes that players can put on al🎀l their possible꧑ party members. Most of them are just color variants, but every character also has a bunch of specific costumes that dress them up like past fan-favorites in the Yakuza franchise! Ichiban, in particular, can dress up like Date, Daigo, Ryuji, Majima, Kiryu, and Saejima. And those are just the costumes that come with the Day One Ichi Edition (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:which is already on sale). There's also the Ultimate Costume Set which adds even ꦗmore costumes (for a priᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚce).
9 Get Dr𒆙unk Which Turns Friendly Fire On
Getting drunk in Yakuza Like A Dragon isn't like getting drunk in any of the other games. This time around, it's a status ailment the player can inflict on their party and one that certain enemies/classes can inflict on others. Basically, when s𓆏uffering from...drunkenness, characters h▨ave a chance to not attack during their turn or attack random targets. So, if Ichiban takes the group out drinking and then gets into a battle after, they can absolutely hurt/K.O. each other. And, even when sober, if they happen to kick an item on the way to their target, like a bike or a cone, and another party member is in the flight path, they can accidentally hit them with it.
8 ꦚ Romance Certain Female Characters
The romancing mechanic of Like A Dragon is well-hidden beneath the thousands of other abꩵsurd mechanics of the game, but it's pretty in-depth. Basically, whenever Ichiban has the option to "Chat with so-and-so" in a menu prompt, that person is very likely a romance target. Usually, these dialog paths are locked behind certain trait requirements, such as Passion or Charisma, but if Ichiban manages to improve himself and give his special lady enough gifts, they can start seeing each other romantically! Narratively, this doesn't amount to much more than some extra dialog, but each relationship aඣlso grants Ichiban some pretty nice stat buffs. Be warned though, if he gets caught dating multiple women, all these buffs will disappear.
7 Despawn Enemies With Taxiܫs
On the more mechanical funny stuff in Yꦚakuza, this is something that has also been in previous games,🌌 and it's the ability to despawn enemies by interacting with cabs. In older titles, taxis were usually spread out at the borders of the map, but in Like A Dragon they're everywhere.
So, if there's an annoying group of mobs walking up to Ichiban and his group that the player doesn't really want to bother with, look for the nearest cab and just interact with it and back out. Or, if there are no cabs nearby, just call one up and take it somewhere nearby. Early on this isn't super viable cause cabs cost a decent chunk of Ichiban's treasured yen, but m𝐆oney starts to ramp up pretty heavily around chapter 5.
6 𓆉 Progress Side Stories And Bug Spawns Repeatedly ♛
Another mechanical hilarity is how easily players can just refresh the map to progress 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:any🔴 of Like A Dragon's🐻 amazing side-stories. Most of the time, starting a random encounter is works, but if there are no enemies nearby simply walking in & out of the nearest walk-in vendor will do the trick. This little exploit is especially absurd during the Persimmon Premonition side-story, where Ichiban has to stop a bunch of random people trying to attack a tree. And, thi🥃s tactic also absolutely works to respawn those much-needed bugs that spawn in the park.
5 Collect Soundtracks For Other Sega Games 𓆉
Players might have seen these CDs at specific vendors during their adventure as Ichiban, but no, they're not quest items. Actually, these CDs are items that Ichiban can take over to Survive Bar and listen to by interacting with the shelf in the back near the piano. And, some of the soundtracks players can obtain are pretty mind-blowing, like being able to snag some of the best songs from the Persona 5 OST. Don't worry about grabbing them early, as most people seem to be collecting all of these in the post-game while wandering around thinking about 🔜all the questions th🃏ey still have after that ending.
4 Get Hit By A Car Or Push Ene❀mies I🦂nto Traffic
Cars have never been a big part of the Yakuza franchise. Players just take taxis everywhere & rarely ever drive cars themselves (except for Yakuza 5's Taxi Driver mini-game). But, in Like A Dragon, they're a pretty serious hazard, as a lot of the random encounters can accidentally work their way into the m🍸iddle of the street. When this happens, both Ichiban's group and the enemies have a chance to get hit by passing vehicles for some pretty hefty damage, but it's just so funny when it happens. And, it's a pretty great strategy to exploit when fighting higher level enemies since moves like Ad🧔achi's Breaking Top or Reckless Charge can launch enemies a fair distance.
3 𓂃 Completely Break The Money System ꦗ
So, in most if not all Yakuza games, there's always some insanely co💖mplex management mini-game where Kiryu ends up as the CEO of a major corporation. And, these mini-games are also always the best way to break the currency system of the game, since they throw huge piles of Yen at the player with no regard for continuity. Seriously, doesn't it seem weird that Ichiban is carrying around millions of yen while homeless?
ജBut yes, this mechanic is back in Yakuza Like A Dragon and it can be accꦦessed insanely early on as well, right in the middle of chapter 5.
2 Upgrade Each Starting Weapon To Become God-Like 🅷
There quite a few ways to heal, get weapons, get armor, or even make money in Yakuza Like A Dragon. Frankly, by chapter 3, players can easily make their party overpowered without even grinding all that much. But, one of the best ways to get the stronger g🐻ear is by unlocking the Romance Workshop and investing in it. But, what a lot of players don't know (because the game doesn't tell them) is that the starting weapon for most jobs can usually be enhanced a ton of times for cheap at Romance, so much so that it sort of invalidates all the other weapons players can b𒁃uy/find.
1 Experience Many Classic Card/Board 🍃Games & Lose All Kasuga's Yen ▨
There's not just one hidden gambling den in Yakuza Like A Dragon, there's two, and even outside of those, players can also waste money & time on darts, Mahjong, or even playing Shogi with some random homeless man on the street. Try to be careful with that cash though, as Kasuga will need it 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to summon𓃲 all the hilarious Poundmates. It's laughable just how many different card/board games are available for players to experience in Like A Dragon. Although, grinding out all the Part-Time hero quests related to these mini-games is absolutely something we'd recommend doing only after beating the𒁃☂ game. And, be warned, the two gambling dens are both hidden behind an NPC who requires a certainꩲ level of Style or Confidence from Ichiban.
