Yakuza is one of the longest-lasting game series out there, and with a beat-'em-up game like this one, you know some enemies are more frustrating to come across than others. From lowly thugs to bullies that are here to take your hard-earned cash away, there's a load of enemies you'll want to run away from because you just can't be bothered with fighting them.
The series has one of the best fighting systems we've ever played, and because of that, we can stand the annoying enemies we need to take out every once in a while. So let's look at the enemies that might get you to rage-quit in the Yakuza series.
10 ꦛ Taser Enemies
The series has many items you can pick up in mid-fight, and that goes for your enemies as well. For example, some of the enemies carry tasers from the beginning of the fight, and if you've ever been in a battle against them, you know how annoying they can be.
Leaving you stunned for just enough time to get hit to the ground by the swarm of thugs that come with them, you'll regret the moment you didn't just go ham and try to take them out before engaging with any other fighter.
9 Heavy Enemies 🐟
As with every beat-'em-up game, you're bound to find the so-called Heavy foe. In the Yakuza series, the big guys are inspired by sumo wrestlers, from their strength to the poses and moveset they use. The Heavies are such a hassle to take down🐠 if you need to be fully aware of them in a skirmish.
They'll come up to you full force and knock you off your feet; you only need to hope that you weren't mid-combo when that happens to you.
8 🍸 Couch Wielders
The final form of the Heavy fighter in the Yakuza series is none other than what we'll call the Couch Wielder. Now, if you've played the game, you know what enemy we're talking about here.
They usually stand before passageways in story missions and hold a whole coach ready to beat you with it. So you will get hit at least a few times and can't do anything about it. Oh, yeah, Heat Actions don't work either.
7 The Fou♔r Mr. Shakedowns
Some of you love Mr. Shakedown, but with him being the only bully in the Yakuza series, we can't leave him out of our annoying enemy list. He's here to take your lunch money whenever you aren't paying attention, and we mean all of it.
This miniboss randomly walks around Kamurocho and Sotenbori in Yakuza 0, and once you get in a fight with him, you better win. If you don't, he takes all of your money, and the only ways to get it back from him are fighting him and winning or stealing it from him if you catch him napping.
6 🐻 Minibosses With Loads Of Minions
Minibosses can be a bore on their own with their basiꦺc fighting styles, but they get incredibly ꦬannoying when they bring a whole squadron of respawning enemies to the battle.
They already have an endless amount of HP for the level their at, and now you find yourself constantly surrounded by some goons that are there to act as cannon fodder. The best part of dealing with them is when you land your final blow, and it's finally over.
5 Drunkards
You know the feeling of wanting to wind down in one of the finest establishments of Kamurocho to enjoy some Karaoke. And as you got there thinking about what you'll sing at the Karaoke, you bump into a Drunkard begging for a beating.
These fragile enemies are just there to be a nuisance to your daily activities, and they accomplish that. Luckily it takes a couple of blows to knock them out, but now you're all rilled up, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:that chill Karaoke night's ruined.
4 Lau Ka Long's Auto Stun
Lau Ka Long isn't that annoying as a fighter per se, but his appearance in Yakuza 3 really riles us up. We're talking about his spear combo, and if you've played the game and fought him, you know how annoying it is.
The fight in itself is okay. That is, of course, until he starts using a slashing move that automatically stuns you, no matter what you do to parry. After that, there's no getting out of it, and if you're close enough, you're taking a nasty stun break.
3 ꦺ 🐠Saito In Yakuza 4
The correctional officer in Yakuza 4 that you have to fight against with Saejima is one of the most frustrating battles you'll ever encounter in the series. No doubt. We know that from our first experience of going against him multiple times and wanting to quit the chapter altogether.
He's an incredibly quick and robust character to fight against, and that should be a plus, but the fact that you are using Saejima and find yourself swarmed by cronies is so annoying. Once you take him out, you deserve a well-deserved vacation.
2 Goro Majima In Yakuza Kiwami ෴ও
Okay, we know Goro Majima is the best character to have ever set foot in the Yakuza franchise, but hear us out. The amount of time you have to fight him in Yaඣkuza Kiwami is just too much. After multiple hours in the game, walking around Tokyo and hearing "Kiryuuuuu-chan" sends shivers down our spines, especially as it can be as many as ten times in a sesꦏh.
We've only got love for the Mad Dog of Shimano, but trying to complete his side quests can be a bit stressful.
1 𓄧💞 Pistol Enemies
Even though all the enemies we've mentioned up until now are somewhat annoying, this one is the most annoying of all the series. And thinking about the fact that they are just a version of a thug makes it even worst because you'll encounter him multiple times: The Pistol enemy.
No blocking this one; you'll take loads of damage each time you get shot. You can only get up and personal and take them out quickly unless they start running from you, leading you on a goose chase.
