The explosive finale of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yellowjackets has just aired, and it offered as many questions as it did answers. In an episode where Pit Girl, the Antler Queen, and Lo൩ttie’s killer all revealed themselves, there’s still a lot to dive into with Yellowjackets season three’s endiওng leaving us on the edge of our seats.

"I Au🥀๊ditioned For The Pilot": How One Yellowjackets Character Was Almost Completely Different
The researchers in season thಌree have disrupted the balance of the Yellowjackets, but Hannah was supposed to appear much earlier.
Why Did Shauna Move In The Card Selection?
During the card shuffling to decide who is hunted, Shauna grows suspicious when Van doesn’t look at her card. Since Van and Taissa know where the queen is, they don’t need to check. At this ꧙point, Shauna realises the draw is fixed.
As for why she moves, it’s unclear if Shauna kne𓄧w the draw was rigged for Hannah, or whether she suspected it was meant for her. However, when she steps next to Taissa, she drags the fix down the❀ line so that it falls to Mari, who had long been the fan theory choice for Pit Girl.
Shauna does not seem particula🐎rly surprised or upset that it’s Mari, so maybe she knew Hannah had been marked for death. Given Shauna’s descent into darkness and her long-running feud with Mari, her reaction isn’t that shocking.
Why Did Akilah Kill The Animals?
In the ninth episode, Akilah is part of the plan to give Hannah the knife so they can escape. But because Shauna catches them in the act, Hannah kills 𓆉Kodiak to save herself, and the plan fails.
As a result, they need a new plan to escape, and Akilah gives them a reason. By killing her animals, the girls will need food, and she knows Lottie will suggest a hunt. Bꦓut killing her animals is a great personal sacrifice. Not only does it mean poisoning things she loves very dearly, it also puts he꧒rself at risk. Mari, who was in on the plan with Nat and Gen, ends up paying the ultimate price. But it may also see them rescued in the end.
Akilah, however, is not seen after entering the 💎cav♋e with Lottie. Her fate appears to still be in the balance.
Why Did Mari Take Off Her Clothes?
There are two reasons Mari strips down in the wilderness, though one is less satisfying than the other. The first is that in the pilot we see Pit Gir🔯l in just a nightgown and Jackie’s necklace, so it needed to come, as the episode is called, Full Circle.
However, there is a practical reason too. By discarding her clothes, Mari leaves a false trail for the girls to follow. Taking off her shoes was an accident as she quickly tore off her trousers when she heard the girls close by. Given Mari has not demonstrated many survival skills in the fo💝rest (being trapped by Ben, reluctance to embrace the wilderness, described by Shauna as a “moron”), you can sort of justify her plan making sense to her, even if she cannot escape her fate.
Why Did Taissa Eat Van’s Heart?
This is a very interesting moment, and one we’ve got 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a 🧸more comprehensive breakdown on here. But in short, cannibalism in Yellowjackets has always been an act of love, not violence, and T⛎aissa eating Van’s heart is more romantic than it is horrific.
Why Doesn’t Melissa Kill Shauna?
It does seem as though killing Shauna would solve a lot of problems. However, it’s easier said than done, bu👍t Melissa has the perfect oꦇpportunity, pinning her down and choking her. However, she relents when she realises she cannot do it.
This is similar to why Va💞n doesn’t kill Melissa in the adult timeline - she simply doesn’t have it in her. The Melissa of 1997 is not as hardened as the Melissa of 2021, so when she has the chance to take a 🎉life, it’s too heavy on her soul. She may also still have feelings for Shauna, though after Shauna shot and humiliated her, that’s doubtful. By the end of the episode, Melissa is forced to eat her friend, so she may be on the path to becoming the sort of person capable of murder we meet in the adult timeline.
What Did Travis Mean About Jackie’s Memories?
Before the hunt, Travis tells Shauna he is experiencing new thoughts in the wilderness, including memories that belong to 💎his brother Javi and to Jackie. This seems to suggest there is a mystical presence, and it’s not “just us”. That would explain why Lottie didn’t fall into the pit and why Laura Lee’s plane caught fire.
Travis’ thoughts on the wilderness are everchanging as he struggles to explain what he has seen. He admits to Lottie and Akilah he wasꦡ lying about being a prophet, but also eventually kills himself to be close to It again. He’s also clearl♚y drunk on hallucinogenic berries when slurring at Shauna.

Everyone Is Saying The Same Thing About T🔴he Latestꦛ Yellowjackets Promo
Because we all feel the 🔯same way about Courtney E🍰aton.
What we can say is Travis’ ‘memories’ are vague. He says sleepovers, making out, and betrayal. That sounds like exactly the sort of thing a teenage boy would guess at the memories of a teenage girl to be. Was he ꦍreally communicating with Jackie, did he just think he was, or was it all a lie? Maybe season four has the answers.
What Did Lottie Mean "You've Been Here Before"?
Lottie tells Mari "you've been here before" right before she falls into the pit, and this may be the start of the fabled 'third timeline', which fans speculate is the ghཧost realm. Shauna's vision of Jackie seemed to suggest there was more to what they had all been seeing, while there are other hints at the supernatural too. Lottie hears a baby crying (alluding to the stillborn Shipman baby), Travis allegedly hears memories, and Mari spent most of season two hearing dripping blood - foreshadowing her own death. Akilah also saw dead animals that season, which were extremely relevant in the finale.
Added to that, all of the bear imagery seems tied to Kodiak (a type of bear), who may ultimately be their saviour in his death. Misty's 🐼cracked glasses are also revealed to be the mysterious symbol from season one, suggesting some form of time loop. Plus I really, really, really want to see Laura Lee back in the show. Please. You just took Mari from me, you animals. Give me Laura Lee back.
Why Didn’t Nat Tell Everyone Misty Had The Transponder?
Though Nat punches Misty in the face for keeping the transponder (and possibly delaying rescue), she does not tell the camp, who may have turned on Misty. This could 💯explain why Misty worships Nat in the adult timeline despite limited interactions in the wildernes𝕴s.
Van is aware, since Misty asks her about how progress is going, and clearly at least Hannah wa🦹s in on the plan for Natalie to sneak off and head to higher ground꧋. The simple answer is Nat cares more about going home than being cruel to Misty, so rather than recklessly rat Misty out she follows Misty’s plan to use the antenna to radio for help. However, it’s pretty clear Nat does not consider Misty to be a friend, or even a good person. Crystal found this out the hard way in season two.
Who Survives To Be Rescued - Is The Eight Survivors Theory True?
The long-held fanon of eight survivors looks to be dead in the water. This was based on the pilot feast, which showed eight cultists, one of whiℱch was revealed to be Misty. However, there are a total of 13 people still in the forest now. Some have their fate confirmed, others are unkno🌱wn as you can see below.
- Misty Quigley - Survives
- Natalie Scatorccio - Survives
- Shauna Shipman - Survives
- Taissa Turner - Survives
- Van Palmer - Survives
- Travis Martinez - Survives
- Lottie Matthews - Survives
- Melissa Hat - Survives
- Hannah the Frog Researcher - Dies in wilderness (confirmed by obituary)
- Gen - Dead by 2021 (confirmed by Shauna, though she also thought Melissa was dead)
- Akilah - Fate unknown
- Britt - Fate unknown
- Robin - Fate unknown
What Will Happen In Season 4?
One thing to get out the way is that the show has not yet been renewed. However, viewership is up this season, and Paramount is steadily building its streaming 🦋platfo🐈rm. All of the cas🔯t have discussed their excitement for what comes next and the cliffhanger ending, so the odds are very likely.
As for the plot itself, we can assume they get rescued. We know that they are picked up after 18 months, and given they’re in their second winter after a summer crash, that should be soon. There has been talk of a ‘third timeline’, and I think it’s safe to assume season four will introduce a post-rescue dynamic - whether it goes supernatural or not. Lottie is packed off to Switzerland and the rest of the survivors deal with life without the wilderness. Some✱ thrive, others don’t.
I hope you’re enjoying c𝓡heeseburgers w♐herever you are, Mari Ibarra.
