A small YouTuber and Twitch streamer going by the name of "TheRealSpidersGeorg_" is playing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls 3 using a toaster in place of a controller, because why not make one of the most notoriously difficult games even harder? It turns out he has some pra♓ctical toaster gaming skills too, as he just defeated the Abyss Watchers (one of the game's bosses) with the kitchen appliance.

TheRealSpidersGeorg_ is appropriately calling his quest to beat the third person action-roleplaying game Toast Souls 3. But how is he harnessing the power of the toaster? It turns out he tore apart the appliance and put an Arduino microcontroller computing platform inside, using it to remap the buttons to suit his 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls needs.

It looks like he is using a Black & Decker four-slice toaster for the ambitious undertaking𒈔, mapping his attack on one lever – his Estus Flask on the other. He is moving his character with the two knobs and has other in-game actions on the toas🗹ter's actual buttons.

TheRealSpidersGeorg_ gave a pretty drab introduction his first video on the matter, briefly explaining his toaster-controller and goal to play the game with it. Within the same short YouTube video, he uses the toaster the defeat the firs꧋t boss of the game on his fi🐻rst try (or so he claims). The effect created by the appliance is actually hilarious – the loud clanging of the attack lever matches the game's anxiety-inducing intensity perfectly.

When he finally defeated the Abyss Watchers in his latest two-hour stream at the end of October, his reaction was that of total euphoria. "I honestly didn't know if I would ever actually beat him... but here we are. Holy sh*t dude! Wow... I'm in𒅌 shock." Hilariously, even after the victory, he struggled to level his character up in the menus using the toaster.

For those interested in the legendary play-through, the project is still in the works; Alongside his YouTube video updates, TheRealSpidersGeorg_ is also streaming his struggles on Twitch. Although there has been a shortage in streams through November, he just updated his audience with a promise to return to Toast Souls "very soon."
