At long last, western fans of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ys series can rest easy in knowing that Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will finally be making its way overseas. During NPGX today, NIS America announced that the latest iteration of Adol Christen's neverend𓄧ing amnesiac journey will be releasing on PC, PS4, and Switch in 2021 for US and European gamers. That's quite a bit of a delay fromဣ its original 2019 Japanese release, but better late than never.
It's nice that two additional platforms are being added here. In Japan, the game remains a PS4 exclusive. There's no word on if the PC or Switch ports will make a reverse jump, but it does seem likely. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana released on Switch and di✨d decently, so NIS would just be leaving money o♎n the table here.
The confirms that it will have both English and Japanese audio options. There will be subtitle support🎉 for English and French l𓆏anguages. That's...kind of odd, but at least appreciated.
What's more concerning is that NIS America is doing the localization. The English localization for Ys VIII was so poorly handled that NIS had to redo it in a patch. The PC port has also never been fully fixed, so there's a chance that Ys IX won't be very good there.
