Archetypes in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yu-Gi-Oh! are a way to categorize cards that have built-in synergy with each other. They either are part of a group that is beloved in the anime and manga, like Hero, or sometimes they are exclusive to the card ﷽game, but through many cards and small tidbits have garnered a massive fanbase due to their deep lore and unique playstyle like Branded cards.

Although Battle Of Legend: Crystal Revenge is mostly a reprint set, it includes a myriad of new archetypes alongside some fan favorites like the Duel Monsters classic, Toons, to round out the set for new and old players alike. While most of the archetypes are not top tier contenders in today's meta, they can still be fun in casual play and deadly in the hands of the right pilot.

7 𒈔 Doodle Beast ✱

First introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V anime, the incredibly cute Doodle Beast deck is played by one of the protagonist's friends and self-proclaimed Yuya's number-one fan, Frederick, the German boy that joins the Duel School after seeing Pendulum Summoning. Only a few cards were introduced in Crystal Revenge, but many immediately fell in love with the cards' charming and adorable dinosaurs doodled by children.

The Doodle Beast cards are so poorly drawn that it adds to how wholesome they are, especially cards like Doodle Book — Uh Uh Uh, 🍷which is an open book filled with more doodles. Just reading the card makes you melt inside, hearing a small child trying to desc🦄ribe their drawings to you.

6 G-Golem

If there is ever a type of card that Yu-Gi-Oh! players can agree on how ෴cool it is, it is always dragons and rocks. For some reason, massive slabs of stone are popular. Whether they are ritual-focused statues in Monolith or even the popular Nibiru, The Primal Being.

G-Golem is the newest in the series of beloved rocks from Konami. An aggressive archetype based on the Vrains anime, the floating golems are Cyberse-type monsters that, when co-linked, can disrupt your oppon✱ents by redirecting at𝓰tacks while protecting your own board. While the archetype is still quite new, it is interesting enough to splash into various Earth decks like Machina.

5 Toons

Toons is the beloved archetype used by Maximillion Pegasus in the first iteration of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. Known for being cartoony counterparts to popular monsters like Dark Magician Girl and Blue-Eyes White Dragon, they have always been a casual-at-best archetype. Its restriction of not being able to attack the turn that they are summoned, commonly known as "summoning sickness" in most card games, makes Toons a bit slower than most decks by today's standards.

While Toons has gotten a bit of support since its inception, the deck still lacks certain tools to compete with some of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the best decks that came out in 2022. Even through all the problems that Toons come across in modern Yu-Gi-Oh!, it is still hilarious to beat down your opponent with a Saturday morni🌃ng-esque version of their favorite monster.

4 🤡 Blackwings

One of the most popular decks in the𓃲 2010 format Edison, named after the Shonen Jump Championship held in Edison, New Jersey that year, is finally back with its reprint set in Crystal Revenge. Blackwings is a fast and powerful deck that can push its advantage rather quickly with theꦓ use of cards like Black Whirlwind, which does not have a once-per-turn clause in its effect.

You are able to spam the board with many Blackwing monsters to either beat over your opponent's monsters and deal piercing damage with Bora The Spear, or use your Tuner monsters to summon some of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most powerful Synchro monsters at the time, like Armor Master, or generic monsters like Black Rose Dragon. With Crystal Revenge, the most commonly used Blackw🀅ings cards are reprinted to coincide with the launch of Darkwing Blast, which adds a slew of new support for the powerful bird deck.

3 Evil★Twin

Unlike the other archetypes in Battles Of Legend: Crystal Revenge, Evil★Twin is the one most suited for modern Yu-Gi-Oh! play. Its ability to 🔴churn out bodies quickly with the regular Live★Twin cards, and its synergy with newer coﷺmpetitive archetypes like Spright and Unchained, makes Evil★Twin a great pair of cards to reprint.

Sadly, the only Evil♏★Twin cards reprinted in the set are the pair of Link Monsters, Ki-sikil anꦫd Lil-la. But, these two monsters combined are part of a long link-climbing combo that can set up extra card draw and a couple of negates at the tail end of it.

2 Crystal Beasts 🦩

Famously piloted by the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX deuteragonist, Jesse Anderson, Crystal Beasts, like most GX archetypes, are some of the most beloved archetypes. Introduced with a unique playstyle similar to Maximillion Pegasus' Relinquished, Crystal Beasts can equip each other as Spell cards, and doing so, triggers their other effects. Just like the other fan-favorite anime decks, Crystal Beasts is not the most powerful deck by any means.

The archetype lacks a strong boss monster. While it does have Rainbow Dragon, it requires too much setup to even be viable. That's not to say that it isn't strong. Once Rainbow Dragon is summoned, it can be a huge nuisance. With a whopping 4,000 attack and a boardwipe to boot, this powerful Synchro monster is nothing to laugh at. The "Advanced" versions of the Crystal Beasts are far more powerful than their regular counterparts, but even then, the deck usually relies on other generic monsters to close out games.

1 Exodia

The Exodia The Forbidden One effect monster card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.

There is nothing stronger than cards that outright read, "you win the duel." As most fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and card game can attest, Exodia The Forbidden One is canonically the strongest Monster in the Yu-Gi-Oh! lore. The Exodia deck hasn't been at full power for a while, since the banning of certain cards to speed up card draw like Graceful Charity and Pot Of Greed, but enthusiasts will always try to find quirky builds for Exodia to work.
