- The Draw Phase involves each player drawing a single card from their deck. Certain effects allow a player to draw an extra card during this phase

9 ܫ Monsters Lose Attack And Defense Po🦂ints After Battling
Unlike in the TCG where attack and defense points aren’t tied to a Monster’s “life,” Cross Duel lets players wear down stronger Monsters with multiple battles. For example, when a 3,000-ATK 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Blue-Eyes White Dragon battles a 2,500-ATK Dark Magician, the Dark Magician will be destroyed and thꦓe Blue Eyes’ attack will be reduced to 500 for the next battle.
This change to attack and defense points makes it important to save your most powerful Monsters for the right moment. While you could try to get a Monster with 2,ꦇ000 or more attack points on tꦜhe field as quickly as possible, doing so could leave you vulnerable — especially if your opponents decide to team up to take down your Ace.
8 The✤ Opponent You Battle Depends O♎n Which Lane You Summon Your Monster In
In Cross Duel, selecting an opponent to target is as simple as placing your Monsters in the correct zone. If you place a Monster in the left zone, it willღ move toward the opponent to your left. Monsters in the right zone go right, and those in the center go straight across the field.
Defending your li♚fe points from attacks works the same way. For instance, you can block an attack from a Monster to your right by placing a defense position Monsters on that side of your field.
When the match is over, the goal is to have more life points re𒅌maining than anyone else, so you don’t need to attack every player every turn. Knowing when to go all out on one opponent or play against everyone at once is key to ach♛ieving victory in Cross Duel.
7 ꦺ Monster Movement Depends On Their Battle Position
Monsters only move across the field when they’re in attack position. That said, changing one of your Monsters to defense position can help keep it on the field longer, meaning you can u𒁃se it to damage an opponent’s Monster or tribute s🦋ummon one of your own.
You can change the battle position 🐻of your Monsters during the Mai🔯n Phase. However, you can’t change the position of a Monster on the turn that you summon it. Some card effects, like the Spell card Block Attack, can also change the battle position of Monsters on the field.
6 🍌 ♋ Spell and Trap Cards Are Simplified
Cross Duel does a🔜way with the various subcategories of Spells and Traps such as Quick Play Spells, Counter Traps, and Continuous cards. Trap cards are now set during the Main Phase — wit✤h effects that activate automatically if the conditions listed on a given card are met. And all Spells are now playable during the Battle Phase only.
The downside of these change💦s iꦐs that you have less control over the timing of certain card effects. But it’s easy to see why this streamlined approach to Spell and Trap cards was chosen to complement Cross Duel’s faster-paced gameplay. Since Trap cards activate on their own and there’s a designated time to use any Spell cards in your hand, very little time is spent waiting for players to activate (or not activate) card effects.
5 Duels Start With A Card In The Center That Players Fighಌt Over
At the start of every duel in competitive mode, a random card appears in the center of the field. If one of your Monsters reaches it first, the card is added to your hand. Getting this card will give you a significant advantage ܫearly in the duel, since it’s often an incredibly useful Spell like Dark Hole — a card that destroys all Monsters in a lane of your choice.
Depending on what your opponent summons on the first turn, it may be better to keep your Monsters away from the center lane at the start of the duel. By avoiding the immediate ski⭕rmish in the middle of the field, you’ll have more ♍Monsters at full power for the aftermath.
4 ꦿ You Start Every Duel With Your Ace Monster In The Hand
An Ace Monster is a card with great stats that goes into your hand at the start of every duel. You’re able to choose between Aces like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Magician and Stardust Dragon shortly after starting Cross Duel. Each player has only one Ace Monster, so taking one off the field quickly will put your opponent at a big disadvantage.
Ace Monsters also have Special Skills and Master Skills that can quickly🐠 turn the duel in your favor. For example, Ojama King, when summoned, prevents a player of your choice from placing Monsters on the field for a single turn.
3 You Gain Life Points By Attacking 🌸Opponents Directly
Attacking opponents directly is more important than ever in Cross Duel♊. Unlike in regular Yu-Gi-Oh!, players don’t take life point damage after their attack position Monsters battle. Instead, placing a Monster in attack position is used to move that Monster toward your opponent’s side of the field. Once you🥂r Monster reaches one of your opponents during the Battle Phase, they’ll perform a direct attack.
In addition to lowering your opponent’s life points, direct attacks increase your life points by an amount equal to the damage dealꦆt by your attack. Since the winner of a duel is the player with the most life points, gaining life is much more important in Cross Duel than in the standard TCG format.
2 The Duel Ends When Any Player's Life Points Reach Zero
While there are four players dueling at once in Cross Duel, it’s not exactly a battle royale. You don’t need to be the last player left standing to win. Duels either end when any one of the four players is out of life points o🎀r when 𝔉eight turns have passed since the start of the match.
If any player has zero life remaining when the Battle Phase is over, the game ends. This rule means it’s possible to win a duel by focusing on getting one player to zero as soꦆon as you have a life point lead. Just be careful that you don’t leave yourself vulnerable to other players while you focus on finishing the duel.
