Ohime the Manifested Mikanko is the Ritual Boss Monster of the archetype and is necessary for your win condition. Many cards in the archetype support Ohime to the field, but if you have Ohime in hand, you can reveal it and search your deck for the Ritual Spell Card, Mikanko Kagura.
The Ritual Spell Card is arguably one of the best Ritual Spell Cards in the game. Besides summoning Ohime, it removes cards on the opponent's field and deals damage. So the summoning of Ohime can turn the tides of battle in your favor.
Ohime has a powerful presence on the field and depending on the Attack Power of monsters on your opponent's side of the field, you can end games quickly. Ohime's ability to give any monster on the field an Equip Card can be used to increase the opponent's monster's Attack to increase the damage you can reflect to their Life Points.

The Monster Cards of the Mikanko archetype all get bonus effects when equipped with Equip Cards. Without Equip Spell Cards attached, the Effect Monsters ꦕof the archetype do not provide damage reflection.
For protection, Mikanko Monsters do not take battle damage when they do not have an Equip Spell Card, although when playing a deck wi﷽th this archetype, you will want as many Equip Spells as possible.
The Effect Monsters of the archetype are designed to help you summon Ohime. Ha-Re is a powerful searcher that allows you to get an Equip Spell, so you can force your opponent to react to your game plan.
The Mikanko archetype has great Spell and Trap Cards that will enable you to summon Ohime temporarily without spending the cost to summon it. Having Ohime on the field, even temporarily, can easily be the game-winning move if you have the Field Spell, Heavenly Gate Of The Mikanko, declaring an attack and on your opponent's turn forcing them to attack.
Overall, this deck has excellent spells and effects to control the battlefield and punish your opponent for playing powerful monsters. Equipping the Effect Monster Ni-Ni The Mirror Mikanko will allow you to control an opponent's monster, even using the monster's Special Effects. The archetype also has another Equip Spell Card that will enable you to take control of your opponent's monsters. With the right cards, you can control what monsters are on the opponent's side of the field through control or sending them back to the hand.
General Tips And Strategies
Mikanko is a small, new archetype, so the deck is open to experimentation. The deck can use Equip Cards that do not belong to the archetype. It synergizes well with other archetypes that focus on using Equip Spells, like Infernoble and Noble Knights.
The key is to design strategies to support your Ohime. A typical strategy is to deal extensive damage in a single turn. A common strategy with the Field Spell, Heavenly Gate of the Mikanko, you can force your opponent's monsters to attack, and Ohime can give the opponent's monsters Equip Cards to increase their Attack.
One of the ways this archetype can achieve victory is with the combo of Lava Golem and Double Edge Sword. The strategy is to summon Lava Golem to the opponent's side of the field.
With Ohime's ability, you can equip Lava Golem with the Spell Card Double-Edge Sword, which increases Attack Power by 2,000, and both players take battle damage when attacking. Ohime and other Mikanko monsters can reflect the damage from Double-Edge to the opponent's Life Points. Lava Golem with Double-Edge Sword has a total of 5,000 Attack Power, and the battle damage goes to your opponent twice.
