168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Legendary Duelists booster pack series debuts with a new pack every so often that has themes pertaining to specific characters from the various anime series, and features new cards for older archetypes alongside reprints of related cards, allowing duelists to give their older decks a much-needed boost after some time.

The TCG's August 2023 Legendary Duelists booster pack, Legendary Duelists: Soulburning Volcano, is full of Fire attribute monsters from the Battlin' Boxer, Salamangreat, and Volcanic archetypes, alongside a handful of Spell and Trap cards meant to support them, but like always, some featured cards are much better than others.

10 ♑ ꦡ Volcanic Trooper

Volcanic Trooper is a volcanic version of the older Fire Trooper monster with the same stats but has two effects. Volcanic Trooper's first effect allows you to add any one Volcanic card that isn't Volcanic Trooper from your deck to your hand after it has been Normal or Special Summoned.

When on the Field, Volcanic Trooper allows you to Special Summon one Bomb Token to your opponent's side of the Field by discarding one card, which causes 500 points of damage to their controller when destroyed. Each of Volcanic Trooper's effects can only be used once per turn but are useful when combined with the effect damage of other cards.

9 ဣ Volcanic Emperor 𒉰

Volcanic Emperor can only be Special Summoned from your hand or Graveyard by banishing three face-up Pyro-type monsters or one face-up Blaze Accelerator Spell card from your Field or Graveyard. Banishing three Pyro-type monsters is more beneficial, as when properly summoned, Volcanic Emperor inflicts 500 damage to your opponent's Life Points for each of your banished Pyro-type monsters.

You can also set one Volcanic Trap card except for Volcanic 🧔Eruption when Volcanic Emperor is summoned this way. Volcanic Emperor inflicts 500 points of additional damage whenever your opponent Special Summons a monster, stacking up the Life Point dam🔥age over time with no extra cost.

8 Battlin' Boxer Promoter

The promoter of the Battlin' Boxer archetype, Battlin' Boxer Promoter, isn't hard to summon since it's only level four, but thanks to its first effect, it can also be Special Summoned from your hand as long as your opponent controls a monster.

Once Normal or Special Summoned, Battlin' Boxer Promoter can be tributed to Special Summon any two Battlin' Boxer monsters from your deck. It can also be banished from your Graveyard to decrease the level of all Battlin' Boxer monsters you control by one. Although these effects are only available once per turn, that's all you need to rapidly summon the most powerful Battlin' Boxers from your Extra Deck.

7 Battlin' Boxer Uppercutter

Many Battlin' Boxer cards allow you to add a Battlin' Boxer monster to your hand, but Battlin' Boxer Uppercutter allows you to add one Battlin' Boxer monster or one Counter Counter Trap card from your deck to your hand, an additional benefit when you already have enough monsters.

When Battlin' Boxer Uppercutter is sent to the Graveyard, it has one of two effects you can activate. The first lets you Special Summon any one Battlin' Boxer monster from your Graveyard, while the second lets you set a Counter Counter Trap card from your Graveyard. While both effects are great, the first is noteworthier since it can bring back any Battlin' Boxer Xyz Monsters destroyed earlier.

6 Battlin' Boxer Chief Second

A cornerman, Battlin' Boxer Chief Second may be weak in terms of attack and defense points but makes up for it through its effects. Battlin' Boxer Chief Second lets you Normal Summon one Battlin' Boxer monster in addition to your Normal Summon or Set. Normal Summons happen less frequently than Special Summons in modern Yu-Gi-Oh! but having an additional summon at your disposal is always helpful.

Battlin' Boxer Chief Second can also be Special Summoned from your hand if your opponent declares an attack and you control a Fire attribute or Warrior-type monster, negating the attack and then banishing any one monster on the Field until the End Phase of your opponent's turn.

5 Battlin' Boxer King Dempsey

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Another Xyz Monster belonging to the Battlin' Boxer archetype, Battlin' Boxer King Dempsey allows you to add one level four or lower Fire attribute Warrior-type monster or one Battlin' Boxer Spell or Trap card to your hand or send it to the Graveyard. This effect allows for various combos and adjustments if needed, to help you summon the more powerful Battlin' Boxers.

King Dempsey also has a Quick Effect that prevents your opponent from targeting Battlin' Boxer monsters with card effects for one turn at the cost of detaching one Xyz Material. It's a brief effect, but the low cost is worth it since many other cards can give King Dempsey additional Xyz Material.

4 Number C79: Battlin' Boxer General Kaiser

An upgraded Battlin' Boxer Xyz Monster, Number C79: Battlin' Boxer General Kaiser gains 200 attack points for each of its Xyz Materials, boosting its attack points to an impressive 3,200. General Kaiser can also negate the Special Summon of your opponent's monster and destroy it at the cost of detaching two materials.

General Kaiser requires Battlin' Boxer Nova, another Xyz Monster, as Xyz Material to activate its second effect, which, once per turn, prevents an opponent's monster attack against one of your Battlin' Boxer monsters and attaches the attacking monster as material as long as you send one Battlin' Boxer monster from your deck or hand to your Graveyard.

3 🌱 Salamangreat Tiger

yugioh salamangreat tiger effect monster

A level five Salamangreat Tuner Effect Monster, once per turn, Salamangreat Tiger can be Special 𒐪Summoned by discarding another Salamangreat card from your hand. Salamangreat Tiger can also be used as n🐭on-Tuner Synchro Material for the Synchro Summon of a Fire attribute monster. Additionally, you can also increase or decrease its level by one.

Salamangreat Tiger's three effects may only be available once per turn, but even with that limitation, they help make it one of the most advantageous cards for summoning Fire attribute monsters from the Extra Deck, working best with other Salamangreats, of course.

2 🧜 Salamangreat Burst Gryphon

yugioh salamangreat burst gryphon synchro effect monster

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Synchro member of the Salamangreat archetype, Salamangreat Burst Gryphon allows you to summon one level seven or lower Fire attribute monster from your Graveyard at the cost of being blocked from Special Summoning any non-Fire Attribute monsters. Burst Gryphon's level is also reduced by the level of the Special Summoned monster as a result.

Burst Gryphon also has an effect that only activates if another copy was used to summon it, letting you Special Summon any monster from your Graveyard during your next Standby Phase. Although there's a wait time and specific material needed, being to summon any monster from your Graveyard with no other specifics built-in to an already summoned monster is immensely beneficial.

1 Salamangreat Ragꦬing 𒈔Phoenix

yugioh salamangreat raging phoenix link effect monster

Yet 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:another Link Monster of the Salamangreat archetype, Salamangreat Raging Phoenix's first effect isn't the most significant, as all it does is allow you to add a Salamangreat card from your deck to your hand but only if another copy of Salamangreat Raging Phoenix is used as summoning material for it.

Raging Phoenix's second effect only activates when it's in your Graveyard but allows you to Special Summon it after a face-up Fire attribute monster in your control is destroyed, and it gains the attack points of said monster. With 2,800 base attack points, any monster can easily help make Raging Phoenix the strongest monster on the field under the right conditions.
