Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has been one of the most successful 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yu-Gi-Oh! games in recent memory. The free multiplatform game boasts over 10,000 cards and has plenty of ways for players to gain gem💞s to purchase cards without spending money.

Of course, with so many cards available, there are a number of humorous cards, whether it be because of their name, artwork, effect, or a combination of all three. While cards like Convulsion Of Nature, which forces both players to turn th꧅eir decks upside down, are not available, there are still plenty of other hilarious cards players can add to their deck.

10 Oops!

While this Trap card can be helpful in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:many modern decks, it could definitely be replaced by other cards that do more to benefit the player. The art of Oops! features several robots from the Igknight archetype, which have effects that destroy each other, although they tend not to have effects that activate when they're destroyed, so it makes Oops! even funnier in that the Igknights accidentally destroyed one of their own without realizing the consequences (or lack thereof) of their actions. While its name and effect make it funny enough already, the extra context makes Oops! even better.

9 Sanwitch

This card is humorous not for its art but for its name and lack of effect. The two materials for Sanwitch, Sangan and Witch Of The Black Forest, both have effects that search the owner's deck for a monster with either under 1500 Attack Points or 1500 Defense Points, respectively.

One would think a fusion of two of the most well-known older cards would have a beneficial effect of its own, but no, Sanwitch is just a normal fusion monster with no effect. Both Fusion material monsters have also been on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Forbidden List before, meaning Sanwitch could only be s༺ummoned in other ways.

8 Mystic Tomato 🌸 🌜

card art and card text for mystic tomato in yu gi oh

While Mystic Tomato isn't the first food-based card, it is the first based on fruit. Mystic Tomato is not officially a part of the Tomato archetype exclusive to the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime series, but may have inspired it and has expanded lore most players wouldn't know. In the Game Boy Advance title 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards, it is said that Mystic Tomato was a man who died after choking on tomatoes and became Mystic Tomato from the anger he felt from this ordeal. Becoming the object of your demise is the ultimate irony, but he doesn't seem too angry about it in the international card art.

7 🃏 Zone Eater/Swordsman From A Distant Land

Besides being different attributes and types, these two cards are pretty much the same. These cards aren't funny because of their names or artwork, but because of their hilariously bad effects that were bad even when they were first released. Other than in a specific situation where these monsters can attack, not be destroyed, and the player can wait for five turns, these monsters are humorously useless.

In modern Yu-Gi-Oh!, these effects are particularly bad, as by the time they would finally t꧅rigger, the mon🅠ster they were used on would probably be long gone or could have been resummoned, which would reset the effect.

6 Taunt

yu gi oh two card art versions for taunt

Taunt is another card that had its art changed for the international release. Two outrageously tough-looking gangsters were replaced by two strange monsters, one of which actually appears in the artwork of two other cards in both their Japanese and international releases. It's unfortunate there aren't any other cards that expand on these characters, as they could tell a story of these humans turning into the monsters featured in the international art. With the current popularity of the Yakuza series and the fact that some enemies have a similar over-the-top appearance, maybe the card's original artwork will see an international release.

5 Number 🔴41: Bagooska The Terribly Tired Tapir

While the name of this Xyz beast is funny enough on its own, it's the art that's the real kicker. Although 4Kids no longer exists and hasn't been involved with Yu-Gi-Oh! in years, Konami continues the trend of unnecessary edits for the international release. In the original Japanese OCG artwork, Bagooska is surrounded by bottles of alcohol, while the international version replaces these bottles with pillows. It's still fitting due to its English name, though, since, in its Japanese name, Mud-Sleeping Demon Beast Bagooska, the kanji for mud-sleep is a pun on "dead-drunk." Only the edited version is available in Master Duel.

4 ⭕ Yaj꧒iro Invader

Years after introducing the Alien archetype and shortly before the Mekk-Knight archetype appeared, this UFO-like alien was released. Yajiro Invader can only be summoned to the center Main Monster Zone. Once per turn, it can be moved to an adjacent empty Main Monster Zone, and every time the opposing player summons a monster, it will move to the closest adjacent zone and destroy all cards in that column. Yajiro Invader isn't all that powerful or hard to eliminate, but it may be one of the most annoying effect monsters in the game, even though it isn't used all that often.

3 Wolf

yugioh card art and card text for wolf

Generic animal cards like Wolf, Peacock, and Jellyfish were more common in the early days of Yu-Gi-Oh! but never seemed to fit in with their more magical or demonic counterparts, and similar to normal animals in the early days of Pokemon, the frequency of these types of cards decreased over time. However, t꧂he Beast card Wolf is the only one of these cards to have its description changed in the TCG. Not only that, but the new description reads as if the English dub version of Joey Wheeler is reading it in his Brooklyn accent, as several cards he used in the anime have been.

2 Super-Nimble Mega Hamster 📖

yu gi oh card art and card text for super-nimble mega hamster

While Super-Nimble Mega Hamster's effect isn't anything special when compared to more modern Beast-type cards, its name is a great one, and it coincidentally has the same number of syllables as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. is that Konami R & D member Jerome McHale started repeatedly shouting "Super Nimble Mega Hamster" while sitting in his chair until everyone agreed that would be the name. It's a much better choice than just directly translating its Japanese name, which is just Nimble Big Hamster, a name that isn't nearly as fun as the final result.

1 𝄹 Self-Destruct Button

card art and card text for self-destruct button in yu gi oh

Self-Destruct Button is banned, so it can't be used in ranked duels, but it's still a funny card to activate against friends when one player is about to win. Self-Destruct Button decreases both players Life points to zero once activated, causing an immediate draw unless negated. Self-Destruct Button can also only be activated when there is a difference of over 7000 Life Points between the two players. It's best to use this card as a last resort when it actually can be used. It's unfortunate that one of the funniest cards in the game is banned, but it's understandable why.
