An ex-Retro Studios concept artist has talked about two rather intriguing cancelled Nintendo projects involving 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda and168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Super Mario.

The relationship between Nintendo and Retro has been lucrative. Retro developed the very successful 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metroid Prime trilogy and had a hand in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario Kart 7. The studio also developed 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze and is currently working on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:highly-anticipated Metroid Prime 4.

Recently, concept art surfaced revealing two cancelled Nintendo projects from Retro Studios. One was for a Zelda action JRPG with a Sheik as the protagonist. The other was a title starring Boo, the ghost enemy from the Mario franchise. However, ex-Retro Studios artist Sammy Hall told that he doubts "many at Nintendo proper saw much of any of this stuff. I was mos♔tly put into a room like Milton from Office Space and tasked to brainstorm between other projects." Hall also revealed that ex-Retro leads Mark Pacini, Todd Keller, and Kynan Pearson came up with the ideas.

According to Hall, the games were in p🥃re-production and were scrapped the week the ex-Retro individuals "went to create their other studios." Overall, it doesn't sound like these two potential games made it very far.
