Winter events in video games are nothing new, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a studio with more holiday-spirit than Zynga. The massive mobile developer is holding holiday events for seven of its biggest games – with some already live and others running into the new yea♛r.
Here are all t🐬he festivities going on a🦩t this month:
Empires & Puzzles Winter Fun! Event
Empires & Puzzles Win𝄹ter Fun! Event is now live and will run until December 31. Zynga said we can expect to see a "barrage of festive features, gifts, and offers to make the holidays much more magical." You'll also be able to tackle Santa's Challenge, which includes a whole new set of enemies.
FarmVille 2: County Escape Holding The Yule Goat Festival
Running from today until Dece🤡mber 27, Country Escape's Yule Goat Festival sees you helping out Nisse as she collects and crafts gifts to build the annual Yule Goat. Along the way you'll be able to earn new holiday farm hands that "make this year extra festive."
FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape Hosting Santa's Holiday Memories
If you want to escape to warm weather, but still want to join in on the ☂holiday fun, FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape has you covered. This year the game is welcoming both Santa and Mrs. Claus, and you're in charge of sending Santa "on a trip down memory lane to help him rediscover his love for the season and everything it stands for." The event will run from today until December 28.
Merge Dragons! Celebrates With A Brief Christmas Event
This short event runs from December 25 to December 28, giving you the chance to participate in a scavenger hunt for hidden Christmas gifts. Zynga also te✱ased that, "The beautiful Ice Dragon is already waiting for you!"
Merge Magic! Christmas Excitement
Another short event running from December 18 to December 21, Merge Magic's Chr♔istmas Excitement event will give you the chance to collect holiday treats and deck out your Garden "with holiday cheer." There's also the opportunity to meet Rudog and Candymur – which sound like a couple of holiday-themed pets.
Words With Friends Running A Lengthy Warm Wishes Rewards Pass
Running through the rest of December until January 24, the Warm Wishes Rewards Pass helps you celebrate the season by unwrapping fes꧙tive gifts. From December 20 to December 25 you'll also be able to play bonus games on the Words With Friends Facebook page.
Zynga Poker Ups The Ante With Winter Wonder Event
And ꧑last, but not least, Zynga Poker is running a Winter Wonder event through December 21. During the event you'll find new Event Challenges, new visual effects,🎶 and new winter-themed rewards.
