Updated May 26th, 2020 by Meg Pelliccio: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still one of the most popular games at the moment, keeping most gamers sane during this time of lockdown. Of course, one of the things that make island life even better is ensuring you have your favorite villagers to share it with.
Freya is one of the most popular Animal Crossing characters and she continues to shine in the latest installment to the franchise. This pretty in pink wolf is the perfect addition to your town and if you didn't want her before reading this, you will after.
15 She Is ౠA Norsꦐe Goddess
Okay, maybe not, but her name does originally come fromꦇ Norse mythology. Freya, or Freyja, is the Norse Goddess of love and fertility.♒ Her name literally means "lady," or "noblewoman." It sounds like a good fit for the little pink wolf.
Freya isn't the regal type, however, her snobby attitude might otherwise suggest. She li🥂kes ro🍌ck 'n roll, the color black, and modern furniture. More on that later... and it gets dark.
14 She Loves Fashion 🎀
Freya has the fashion hobby trait, which means she absolutely adores fashion and so you will often find her clothes shopping at the Ables Sisters. She will also often ဣgift clothing to the player or comment on what the player is wearing. Though you have to wonder what the clothi♐ng will be like if she deemed it not worthy enough for herself.
Additionally, it means Freya loves talking about fashion to anyone and everyone who will listen and wiඣll often talk to you about her own style or clothing choices. If you want a fashionista for your island - Freya is your girl.
13 “Uf𒆙f Da” Is A Norwegian Exclamation
Keeping in line with the Norse theme, Freya's iconic phrase "Uff Da" is a Norwegian exclamation. It's meaning is along the lines of, "my God," or "oh no." Pretty much any translation you can think of that convey꧒s dismayꦑ or surprise.
It's a cute ph﷽rase that fits her personality, however, it can seem a little off-putting when you approach her in good nature and she yells "uff da!" in your face. Really, is this not a good time, Freya?
12 She Is An Original Character 🌸♏
Newbies to the franchise might not be aware of Animal Crossing's early development, but they're sure to know that new characters have been added since the Game Cube version. For those who are familiar with the N64 game, they will know that Freya has been apart of the journey 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:since the very beginning.
She's an original character first appearing in the Japanese version Doubutsu No Mori (Animal Forest) for Nintendo 64. Like her or not, she's got some miles on her and for that, she does deserve🐽 a little respect.
11 She Was Thꦓe Only Female Wolf Until Animal Crossing E💫+
Animal Crossing went through a lot of changes when it was first relea🐬sed for the Nintendo 64. It was first released in Japan, then America, where Nintendo America made some chang🦋es that Japan liked, and so it was re-released in Japan and so on and so forth.
So much happened in the first five years and a lot of things changed including Freya's status as the only female wolf until Vivian showed up in Animal Crossing E+. Vivian is also a snooty villager, which 🐓was probably a relief for Freya.
10 She Was M❀issing from Animal Crossing: Wild World 🅰
Despite being one of the original Animal Crossing characters, Freya was inexplicably absent from the franchise's journey to the Nintendo DS with its release of Animal Crossing: Wild World.
This could be because a new female wolf was added to Wild World, Whitney the white wolf, who shared the same snooty personality type as Freya. It's possible Nintendo didn't want too many similar characters and opted to leave Freya out in favor of a fresh character. Whitney even went on to star in Animal Crossing: The Movie that was based on Wild World.
9 Her Star Sign Is Sagittarius 🔥
Freya can be generous when she gets a little mor🌜e comfortabl💖e with the player and she does like being outdoors (although that could be said of all the animals). These Sagittarius traits fit her well and her personality definitely fits theꦐ f﷽ire types.
Sagittarius signs are curious and haꦚve a good sense of humor which Freya portrays a bit, however, some of her humor comes off as unint👍entional (see the ditch scene below).
8 She Shares Her Birthday With a Big🉐 Release 🀅
Freya's birthday is December 14th, meaning that she shares her birthday with a big release from the Animal Crossing franchise - Animal Forest+! This release was the updated GameCube version of Animal Forest, which added new features previously left out of the Ninten𓆏do 64 version and that released eight months after the original game launched.
The most revolutionary thing about the GameCube version was that it utilized the console's built-in clock, allowing time to pass even when the player wasn't actually playing. This prompted a new slogan for the game: "It's playing, even when you're not."
7 ꦡ Her Parents Are Grey Wolves
Freya is one of six or seven siblings; basically, she's a littermate but apparently the only colorful one. It's🉐 never explicitly said what color her siblings are, but it is made apparent at one point that her parents are both grey wolves and were surprised that she came out pink. Maybe that is t♊he reason for her name.
Whatever the case, pink fur is unique. Despite the fact that many of the villagers are colorfu✤l, something about Freya's pi🧔nk fur is especially distinct but lovely all the same.
6 She's A Drama🅰 Queen
In case you've been ignoring Freya, here's more proof that she is worth making friends with. T🅰his wolf is a drama queen. Not only does she throw a fit if you talk to her too early, but she can't deal with the ditches around town.
She probably broke a lovely ওpainted claw falling into that. Likely if you help her out she'll reward you with a snarky comment but it's worth it just to experience moments like these with her.
