I agree with you, but I do think healing needs to be made more impactful. In normal du🀅ngeons, there simply isnt a need to heal, which makes your very healing loaded heavy k💧it, useless. You get to push 4 buttons as sch. Broil, ED, CS, and Bio, 3 of which are CD based which leaves you spamming Broil half the time. I think we should have healing be more required in every part of the game. Having a bad tank makes the dungeon go slower, having a bad dps makes the dungeon go slower, having a bad healer? Doesnt change anything. Because there is no real risk. That is what I think should be changed. However "strike" is not the way

I am in a middle ground, I agree it should be healers function should be emphasized not changed. I dont think we need more dps rotation, but we need healing to be a part of normal mode content. Even in normal mode, tanks tank and dps well dps, why are healers the only ones that dont get to heal during any content. Normal is supposed to help you understand your class to be able to do harder content. Healers get new "useless abilities" on level up cause the content just doesnt requiere more healing which I think should be the point to address. ❀Good they did it for P5-8 but it should be a normal change, yes having a bad healer SHOULD be a liability as much as having a bad tank.

I am a Healer main, I mainly do SCH and AST but I also play as WHM and SGE, and play a couple DPS. The argument here is, in normal content, healers dont have a role. And TBH, it tends to be the case. For SCH your damage rotation is Bio as your dot and Broil as single target, using your aetherflow for Energy Drain, thats it. 3 energy drains every 45 seconds and 1 biolisys every 30, then just broil. And if there are more enemies than 2, art of war, and thats it. I understand that they feel underwhelming in normal content and that is because they are. AST is similar but with the cards buffs and🍒 upcoming class remake I am holding my tongue since changes still arent live. SGE is one of the more fun/active dps rotations and WHM at least has more options. From a SCH perspective, yea, there should be a change for either there be a need to heal in a dungeon or a better dps option. The thing I dont like is that in theory, normal dungeons should give you the opportunity to practice your class in a lower difficulty level. But you dont practice healing. There is no need to ever use recitation to adloquiom to deplyment tactics in a dungeon. There is no need to use the shiny new skills we get. And that feels dull. It isnt fun to not have a NEED for a role. To those saying its new content people make mistakes. Yea! We will find a use there. But people tend to make smaller pulls, and then you go back to 2 buttons. It is a truth that healers are an underperforming job. "But if you take healing away from tanks, they depend on the healer" thats the whole point of a healer. To be depended on and to enable their team to dps. But if there is nothing to heal, you are an underperforming dps and overall dead weight. I do appreciate the community doesnt treat healers that way for the most part. But playing SCH doesnt feel good, unless its in endgame content. Or becuase you enjoy simpler gameplay, and there is nothing wrong with that
